It has been decided that...

vondrack will hold the responsibilities of the Minister of Information.

oliverfa is named to the post of Head of the Intelligence Office. It was suggested that oliverfa might hold both MI and IO positions. This would not be a good precedent as the Intelligence Office is intended to be a non political office.

As for the Ministries of Defense, Interior, and Foreign Affairs we would like to know the opinions of the citizens of Apolyton prior to making appointments. Each position has good candidates and the Consuls would like to know who is favoured by the people.

Polls will be launched in about 4 hours. Those polls will be standard Apolyton polls and will last 48 hours. At the conclusion of the polls the Consuls will announce the appointments.

Wouldn't the job of the Defense Minister be to fight our enemies with whatever size and composition of military that the Consuls and Senate deem to give him?

Though the same person can certainly fulfill both roles, the Chairman of the Hawk Party and the Minister of Defense are, in fact, seperate roles

I will, of course, do the best with what I have.

However, that doesn't mean I won't ask for more. I would be, after all, the knower of all things military, so I would be the one to know when we need a bigger military, correct?

In Spain, when translated to English VicePresident becomes Deputy Prime Minister, and President becomes Prime Minister. Curious...

Decisions have been made.

Trip is appointed to be Minister of the Defense. Theseus is appointed as Vice Minister of Defense.

Togas is appointed to be Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Dominae is appointed to be Minister of the Interior.

We are pleased to observe all three candidates for the Minister of the Interior working together on plans for our rapid growth and hope that this continues.


Lastly, it has been decided that Ninot will be first among equals and has been named President by the Consuls.
