Tiamat, I totally agree. The average guy likes to look at the female body. But, the drawings you talk about are hardly realistic. They tend to be highly exaggerated and bizzare. Inhuman is a word that comes to mind.

Depends how well written it is. This is where porn scores, if you'll pardon the pun. The images mean the writing doesn't have to be all that great to get the same level of effect (at least, for most guys).

korea is region 3: east asia, southeast asia.
and it uses NTSC format; PAL seems exclusive to europe.

Being very, very unatractive man, I've been forced to resort to H-material, which I find strangely appealing. I blame an old NES game by the name of Ninja Gaiden, or Shadow Warrior, as it was known back where I live. The first manga-type girlie I encountered was the fiery redhead, who shot (!) the hero. I've never seen any good hentai, either. There are some amusing peices with heavy sexual overtones, stuff like Spaceship Agga Ruter (think of it as Tenchi with a dash of porn), or comic stuff like Buttobi CPU. But yeah, they all sacrifice story for sex.
There are a few good pieces that might be considered on the edge of hentai, like Sakura Diaries (home video version), that have good stories too (amusing coincidence, the opening theme for this started playing in WinAmp while I was writing this). But they're not what's usually called hentai.

First note: I haven't read all thread, so I might say something that has already been said...


I don't understand that people can "get off" looking at anime porn, but I must say I have watched it from time to time (or maybe I'm mixing it with Hentai... not sure about the difference)... but the reason why I watched it, is because of the story (I have played several anime/hentai (whatsoever) games, and I really like the story, but I can't see how those pictures can get you off... (specially not with all those girls with red/purple/whatsoever colors of hair...)

Other drawing porn I like, is those "funny porn"... You know, some famous cartoon character doing it with some other famous cartoon character... It's not a "turn on", but it's funny (Though I guess, not many likes this kind of comedy )

Yes, the games are not exactly greatly drawn, but I really like the story part (and try to keep my eyes off the pictures )... a great story is better than a great picture (And no, I'm not talking about the "ohh, ahhh" stories... talking about the story between the "ohh, ahhh" stories )
