	Anime Porn.........I don't understand Put an end to popups!

Ok. I just don't get it. I mean really....a cartoon?!?!?

I understand the theory behind porn etc....yes I know that men are visual creatures and women tend to go for the more emotional attachment. I also understand the porn issue....it's just something guys do. And yes I know women do it to. Why I myslef have even been known to take a peek or two however, I do not understand why or how someone can "get off" or be arroused by a cartoon. It is after all a DRAWING!!

I've had it explained to me recently that basically the wind can blow up against their "little buddy" and men can get arroused. Is this the same principle? Does looking at a cartoon in a sexual way become stimulating? I just can't seem to get past the fact that it isn't real.....but a drawing. Yes I know porn isn't real either or at least the stories aren't but it is live people flesh and blood and not a drawing.

If that's the case maybe I'd better give Elmer Fudd a second look

Drawn porn has much to do with repelling the possibilities of filmed porn. It allows much more flexibility in the story and the fantasies. You might want to check out Manara, a famous Italian author of porn comics : an imaginative storyline and bizarre fantasies make it arousing for all tastes.

I think drawn porn calls a similar public than porn stories : people who get aroused by a unusual context to having sex (to some extent, you'll find such unusual circumstances in the storyline of normal porn movies)

What about a painting? Surely they are erotic paintings, yet they are simply still pictures.

What about books? Don't some women find books arousing, like bodice rippers, just in how they present ideas?

Why then is cartoon porn so hard to understand?

I don't understand either. I saw an anime picture of a woman being rogered by a giant bug on a documentary the other day. Kafka aside, that seems to be a bit weird.

Alright I'll give you that there are paintings. I guess I should specify. I came across something in looking for some good anime and it wound up being an anime of a girl on a public street talking to a little kid and then all of the sudden.......you got it.....

"oh I don't know what's come over me I feel so strange" and of course right there on the city streets in public with people watching she proceeds to...how shall I tactfully put this.....pleasure herself fingers and all.

So porn isn't that believable but how many porn movies or actors do you see taking care of business on a public street with onlookers and a child. See that's where I had the problem. And it's a drawing!!

No, you are young. That's what my Grandma calls her books. Generally they all consist of young men seducing women, and they vary in the setting.

The point was that any medium can be used to arouse. So can anime. Your disagreement is not whether anime can arouse, but why Hentai arouses.

I'd say that nugget porn is probaby far worse than most (likely all) anime porn. This is based wholly on conjecture, though, since I can't say that I've actually seen any nugget porn, nor (hopefully) will I ever. :gasmaske:

It's mostly a historical thing. Japan has always been very much into various printed arts, from the Ukiyo-e woodblocks on (and even before then, but that's when it really got popularized).
The other key factor is government censorship. It's varied wildly from ruler to ruler. For a long time the only way to produce pornographic material was in a printed/drawn manner, and even that had a lot of restrictions. This sort of thing went on long enough to keep drawn and animated porn a traditional type thing.

A lot of this sort of thing falls back to the censorship I mentioned. Lots of restrictions on which bits could and couldn't be shown, so they had to get creative.

I just find it a bit on the odd side but then again everyones sexual ideas or stimulants are not the same as the next persons so for some I'm sure it's a source of amusement or entertainment or ........well.

Call me old fashioned but I like real skin, real jibblies I'm just not sure that I could really watch something like that and find anything remotely arousing about it. I would still be in the back of my mind like...........it's a freeking cartoon!!

Agreed to which I made that point in the first part of the post. While I know and understand that porn isn't real it still provides a "real live" stimulant as opposed to Hentai.

If you were going watch something to stimulate yourself would you not want to watch a real live person. Granted Ron Jeremy isn't pretty to look at.....but he isn't a cartoon.
