As far as I know you can use the Modpicker to play mod without modifing original game files and should work fine with PBEM game as well. Not sure if it work with Celestial Dawn's mod too.

Do I notice a difficulty in finding replacements, or is it my idea?

With regards to using CDs mod: If you want to play mods PBEM there are complications, although it is not necessary to use Modpicker, and I think it is unwise to. Many have tried and none of the games with more than 2 players have made it past about turn 10 due to the complications. I have played a couple of 2 player mod PBEM games with no problems.

We need a substitute and probably replacement for a player in the super league. If you go for this, you will be on a team with Protoss72000. You will start right up into eight 2 against 2 games that are just started, as well as four 1 against 1 games.

About three months ago I crashed and lost all data (just around 4th of July...maybe July 2nd...had to get a new OS installed and new HD...)

But not since then
No..Im not interested in taking any one elses spot..

yeah troll i'm afraid that they do. some just move slower than others. also they tend to slow down as they advance in ages. the fastest ones are the challenge matches there a turn a day min. sometimes alot more.

FF yes that and blackice is down.

Welcome fieldcs!

If you want to get active and fast you might volunteer to take Frozzy's position in the SL. That'd get you a few 1x1 and 2x2 games though I'd recommend jumping in with both feet like I did a long time ago for full impact (thus, get into as many games as possible.)

It helps make sure that you stick around.

(and boy, do I know about that one. )

Joining the SL isn't the badest idea fieldcs - those games are very active, in most of the 2x2 (team) games, the turn get back to you nearly every day and you can easily get 4-5-6 turns of the same game in a 1x1 games every day.
