	Do I read the manual from begining to end before I play the game? Got spare money?

Just wundering because I don't want to read about Haresters and spoil the surprise while playing the game.

Do I read it or avoid that part and read everything else and enjoy the game and be surprised?

I didn't, though I did use the master tips to get the hang of the UI ingame. It really isn't as uber-complicated as people claim, though reading through the manual does give you the story/clear up a few things. I wouldn't say its needed so much as useful, if you're a veteran strategy gamer you're going to be able to figure most things out anyway, which is part of the fun of strategy games.
