Please put in the e-mail subject line: ISDG PBEM #1 - date Save whenever you send the save to the next person, so that they don't get confused as to which game it my be (if they are playing multiple games, like I am)

Bigfree1, you need to have a dual Install of the game and replay your turn in 1.14f and resend that to GeneralTacticus (he already has a dual install).

We will upgrade to 1.21f for this game, after we are certain of everybody having the 1.21f patch and running it with no problems.

I did complete two different installs of the game (I have space )!

I sent a 'new' 4000 BC save file to GeneralTacticus playing the 1.14f patched version.

Argh just missed the save by a half hour..... 30 minutes after I checked my inbox and went to bed I received the save ,
Betahound: Since I am in Europe (GMT +1), try to play the game in the morning or afternoon, otherwise I will be sleeping when you send it

was this game set up so the time zones go in order? It doesn't seem like it... maybe we should restart in a different order. (and I'm not saying this because I have a bad starting spot... yummm... beef )

Yeah it certainly doesn't seem like it....
As far as I can see there are 6 people from America, I am from Europe and General Tacitus is from Australia.
It would be best if I get a position behind Tacitus because he is ahead of me in time. Then I could pass the save on to someone in America again.... But that would require us to restart.. (and yes, I do have a bad starting position )

I am Ok with restarting - and I have an Ok starting position.

The ISDG was set up according to time zones, and I think that has helped with the speed of play.

We can do a second game with that order, Although, I wasn't too keen on the "random" nature of how the game was set up, I kind of like it.

Part of the reason that it was sent so late was that we had the problem with the save. With people being in several different timezones, you might be lucky to get 2 saves done in a day, but just count on the one per day,
