I don't know how to set up a pbem game, the manual doesn't give a very clear discription....
At least in this game I got one of those starts (someone here - forgot his name - estimated roughly 30-35% chance) that is worse than our poly start, at least from what I can see now....but that is not the reason I want a restart, a vassal game can be kinda fun too

-7 GMT here. Pick a time zone to start with, then make the turn order based upon who comes a bit before. For example, EST to CST to MST to PST, etc.

I'm -8 GMT. We could re-assign the Civ's though to make it more interesting; just assign them by the turn order you come up with(by timezones) for this game. If two or more people have the same time zone place them alphabetically.

Sorry, I have to go now. Here is the file, in case there is a way to put in the administrator password, and then set a new password. If there is no way to reset the password, when I get back on Tuesday, I will replay the 4000bc turn and set the proper password on it.

This is my first PBEM game. Does the sort of things happening in this game happen in most? Not anything personal against guys (or girls )from outside North, South or Cental America, but from a time zone consideration, I would like to be in another game that has the possibility of moving a bit quicker. Is anyone interested in setting up an America's game?

I'm pretty sure Panzer32 is gone 'till Tuesday. We could pick someone from this forum, but not in this game, like notyoueither, to play it for him. Keep the admin password to yourself and whomever plays Panzer32's turn for him.

I've recently played another PBEM game and had all of the players online at the time, and still only got about 3 to 5 turns done in a "night". So 1 turn a day is good enough.

24hrs would be cool; but I've only had 2 turns and we're going on the 4th day. If everyone was closer together, timewise, then some turns could be played consecutively, like in a chat or something. Or maybe I need to learn more patience.

Can we have a third game so that notyoueither can play? We can make it a 'for fun' one and include all the Civ's as possible choices.

You don't have to be in a third game, and playing sewveral PBEM games only take the time to remember what you were doing with it and then doing it and sending the save....
