a minute later he said "AHh **** , no I won't, it changed production from settlers and carravans to graineries in nearly all my cities"



Yes we did restart but did not go back far enough to fix the problem so Makeo just soldiered on like a true champ.

plus i'm in the desert and i have to help deity along so thats a bit of a handicap, and the ai is picking on me as well. and some schmuck to my north built a city right next to some of my fortified units and i just know he is going to get all uppity about them being there when he didn't have to build right next to them.

I think we should go back that last half hour so that Makeo is back to normal. We should have restarted straight away at that point as advised.

It seems to me that when a player gets screwed on a turn we always stop and restart so why did we stuff around so long last night? Only to end up with a save that was no good anyway???

I have a few saves. I'll send them to Makeo and see if one of them is near the point he dropped...

Was just trying to be helpful

Makeo contacted me on Messenger so I presumed his icq was down for the moment. He said he couldn't get in and he could see his civ playing itself. I simply passed on the message to Horse.

Horse kept on saying to hang on a moment. He was clearly not on the ball and not listening....

It's OK to screw up Horsie but if you'd listened to your civ colleagues you would have found help, support and enlightenment
