	National attributes in a civ game Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Some positive and negative national attributes for a civ game...

AMERICA

+ The Americans may attack any allied units, without war being declared.
- Temples, libraries and wonders will generate negative culture points.


ENGLAND

+ Any national victory will heighten public morale for an indefinite period of time, no matter how long ago it was or how much help was given.
- The only government form available to the English is 'Monarchy'. Will revert back within a few terms if a revolution occurs.


JAPAN

+The Japanese are the only players allowed a 'Golden Age' at the same time as America.
- The Japanese 'Golden Age' lasts around 10 years, dying out when Tamagotchis and Pokemon become unpopular.


FRANCE

+The French may not make peace with any English-speaking countries.
- The French may not make peace with any English-speaking countries.

The Avro Arrow. At the time it was superior to anything being produced by the Americans. We managed to develop one or two prototypes, but our Prime Minister suddenly cancelled the program. Although there was no absolute proof, most people believe it was because of pressure from the US.

- If you build a city or tile improvement in the northern half of your empire, it will be automatically built in the southern half too and can't be cancelled. But in the southern half the improvement will cost twice as much to maintain and take 2 times longer to complete.

- Belgium has no culture of its own, it has 2 cultures: Dutch and French. If you can't maintain the status quo between the two cultures, Belgium will become part of either France or the Netherlands and the game will end.
