the statistics can be interpreted many ways

and could be mistaken (I am not sure in what way, I have never heard anyone doubting them)

but they are deffinitely there

and as I said, I have not heard any reason to doubt them

what are you talking about? the cops give breathalyzers to students here all the time, and if they're under 21 and have alchohol on thier breath, they get a ticket for underage drinking.

ehhhh... if you have a connection to get pot, that same connection can get you alcohol.

Of course in every country you can get alcohol below 18, if you put a little effort in it.
But the Question is: Do you have to put more effort in to getting pot or alcohol.

Like I remember it from memories way in the past ( )
you had to hit about 4-5 supermarkets till you found some cashier who didnt care. While if you want to get some pot the dealer is right there at the corner...

i'd say alchohol is easier, everyone knows someone older, *cough* the twins *cough* ) who will buy you alchohol. Sometimes you have to hunt around a little for someone selling pot

It is FAR EASIER for a 15 year-old to get pot than alcohol.

In Canada, it is easier for them to get pot than cigarettes.

There are dozens of sources in high school selling pot daily. The profit is substantial, and the economy is fully underground.

There is not a business case worthwhile for 19 year-olds to buy cigarrettes and resell them. Alcohol has to be bought to order, forgetaboutit.

If marijuana were legalized and sold in liquor stores, it would be much MUCH harder for kids to get. Not to mention we would have an enormous tax revenue source, and cut the police and court costs substantially.

Not in Quebec. I started going out to bars at ~16. The only times I've ever been carded were: at the age of 18 in Ontario (bastards) and at the age of 22 walking into the Montreal Casino...

I was just in Montreal and there were some pretty young kids in the bars and strip clubs on Rue de Saint Catherine. Pot didn't seem that hard to get considering people were offering to sell at every other street corner...
