I was flicking through the campaign leaflet that the local Tories put through our letterbox the other day. Apparently, we here in Scawby contribute about £17,000 (it doesn't specify whether this is per person, or the entire village, nor does it specify over how long a period this is) towards public spending in Scunthorpe. O, the horror!

And, the Conservatives are going to reduce local government spending (the council has debts of £86 million, apparently) by introducing an ambitious public spending scheme which will help reduce crime and improve rural bus services, amongst other things. They're ambititious, I'll give them that.

Oh, and apparently the Lib Dems will say anything to get elected and are even worse then Labour. So, the Tories are clearly worried about them.

On the face of it the BNP do seem to have some sensable policies , but this is to make them more electable. Sending Razorblades to Jews is completely unaccaptle, and he should have Jailed for longer for such a racist crime.

However, it would be interesting to see if the fella has changed, although since the BNP attracts extremists, i would doubt it.
Nevertheless, vote for the party and not the person, that's my opinion.

The BNP are an odd bunch. They claim that they want to send all the foreigners 'back where they came from'. I wonder how far they'd go with this; my mum is Dutch - are they going to give her a load of money to go back there, or is she OK because she's white?
