Where have I said that? I'm sure some would work if it wasn't for our ineffective asylum policies. And crime rates are higher amongst immigrants - that isn't racism, that's fact.

Gays should know that if they do that sort of thing in public they are going to get beat up.

Crime rates are higher in all low income groups whether from home or abroad.

Fine, but then so are 80% of people I know. They should keep it behind closed doors if they value their lives. Maybe it's OK in the promiscuous and liberal south due to ****ter Europeans immigrating, but in the north and Wales there at least remains some culture that isn't fond of delinquents.

Honey, the nature or severity of the crime wasn't the thing in question. Bod's self-righteous moral highground was the thing under question.

I'm willing to bet that I've lived in a tad few more countries than you have. I've been an immigrant to the USA and Canada so I know what it's like. You leave your home, your culture because you want a better life. And luv, you work for it. Being white and fluent in English may have gotten my family out of the worst of it but the first few years while governments sort out your status means you're taking the longest shifts and the crappiest hours. Consider how many native born Britons would be willing to work a chips shop at midnight to cater for the afterpub crowd.

I've seen what lengths people go to to improve their lives. Living in America, there's quite a few Mexican migrant workers around the summertime. A whole lot of 'Rican maids and cleaners. Canada's got its share of Indians, Arabs, Somalis and everyone else. So I try to be a bit more aware of the people around me and what they've done. I wish the Turks who run the local kebab shop a happy Eid. I chat with the Indians and Chinese who come into my work. By far they are nicer, better people than any native born lil Englander who mouths off about immigrants to me. Cause the irony is they don't even realise they're talking to one.

Any danger of providing any figures regarding to back up the claim that violent crime is more likely to be perpetrated by Asylum Seekers? I'd hate to think that was an unjustified and barely thought-through knee-jerk reaction, because that would be so unlike most people who speak in favour of the BNP.

(Hint- that was sarcasm. I don't usually signpost this, but it's wasted on the thick.)

Given a choice between Asylum Seekers and barely-literate, self-righteous xenophobes, I'll throw my lot in with the Chinese and Kurds, thanks all the same.

When asylum seeker reach Dover/Folkestone/Ashford very few stay in the area - they disperse around the country.

The Pas de Calais region of France has (at least it did until Sangatte was closed) a much worse problem because of the high concentration of people. You ever wonder why the French were willing to see them leave for Britain? Compared to the French side the the UK has it laughably easy.
