I'm more concerned that the PUT is the most powerful faction than anything to do with forums. However it is interesting that the Hive have admitted that most of their posts and members are concerned primarily with Pravda and RPing, so that not so much actual game discussion is getting done there. Since this is not the case here in the CyCon (we have one thread for 3D, and the rest all On Topic) so it begs the question what are we discussing that others aren't? Are we overprepared, or are the others underprepared...

How about we set up a sixth approach to victory. You can win if you have the maximum amount of threads, average post per member, and matters covered in the private forum in the term when somebody wants to declare victory. This way you can win even you were eliminated before the end term.

I come on looking for an excuse to post, but find nothing's really changed since the last 9 times I came here looking to post.

I'm still here and active. Most of us have retired to our private forums, partly because we can discuss the game there, and partly due to the problems with contact before we should have I think. Will liven up when we have met each other IMHO.

I think this is largely a cascading effect... few people are posting, therefore few interesting conversations are developed. I view the main forum every day, but there is rarely anything worth posting about going on, so I generally don't post, which means there are fewer interesting conversations (I'm not being vain, I'm talking in a general sense... vanity is illogical), which means fewer people post, etc..

Ever since the hive figured out that our faction was heading downhill we've doubled our post count. Since we now have to post on IC and on making our turns. Since we're now probably producing more posts than any of the other clans combined can we get a 2nd forum so we can neatly have IC seperate from turn stuff?
