well, considering it is possible to have a 110% (which is PERFECT) if one takes all honors/AP classes, my GPA isnt that outstanding, especially in my hyper-competetive school where i was still one spot out of the top 10% of the class (GRRRRRR!!! im soooo upset about that still... if i had just tried a little bit harder...). Our valedictorian has like a 104 or something like that.

I averaged 3.4 to 3.7 (on a 4-point scale) during high school and college. It was enough to land me some good scholarships, which meant having to take out less loan money to cover my higher education.

Good grades pay off, kids!

:hmm: We didn't have GPAs at any of the schools/universities that I attended, but Let's see, I failed out of high school so my GPA probably sucked at that point. I took two night school course to get my high school diploma scoring about 85% which brought my grade average up to a sparkling 63%.

University marks ranged from a couple of A's down to a D, until the last year when I didn't get around to writing a couple of finals. After taking a break for a year, I went back and concentrated and managed to bring my average up to above a B which was enough to get into grad school.

A dozen years after graduating with a Masters, the marks I earned don't really matter.

Increase Your PM Length

I had something crazy high in high school, since our GPA's were on a 5-point scale and since you could get as high as a 6 for an 'A' in an honors or AP class. I can't remember offhand what my GPA was, though, but I do remember being tied in the class rankings with some anal retentive chick -- I'll ask her what her GPA was if I ever see her again.

Undergrad I had about a 3.2 -- I got close to straight C's my freshman year.

Grad school I've got a 3.7 -- got nine credits of A's and four credits of B's last quarter. The only thing I've gotta watch out for are C's -- the university has a Three C policy, whereby if you get three C's you're recommended for dismissal from the program.

My HS gpa was a 3.9, but was inflated because I took a fair number of "honors" courses which provided me with "4s" for Bs or "5s" for As.

My College GPA just just a hair over 3. It should have, and could have been better, but I really tailed off at the end.

We had %'s in both HS and university.

I had around 88% in HS and ~70% in University, although that really depends on what year you are looking at!

My grade (after year 12) was 16,67 if that means anything to you. I hope it does since I myself have no clue what it means.

GPA through sophmore year was 4.0. Then I joined a fraternity. Pledging semester was hell. Ended up overall with a 3.7 or something like that and a BS in Chemical Engineering. Never had any inlcination to go on for an advanced degree.

3.9 in HS, without AP adjustments.

2.0 even in College!!! See I did just as much work as was required, and no more... I got my degree, and, from talking to old classmate, have a better job than those with near 4.0s!

Ain't what you got that matters, it's what you do with what you got that counts...

Oh, yeah, I also have that Chemical Engineering degree thingy... hardest thing I ever done (though a 2.0 is more like only doing half of it).

Having hiting a low of 3.1 after the 1st semester of my sophomore year in college, (sleeping through an exam, trying to be an econ major when you suck at it and taking an upper level psych course without taking intro psych will do that to you) I've dragged it up to 3.31 thanks to an A average last semester and will probably knock it up a little more in my last semester...

Don't know, don't really care. My marks were good enough in HS to get me early admission into university, good enough in my first two years to get me into a highly competetive IR program, good enough overall in undergrad (combined with my work experience and referrences) to get me into a top-notch MBA program, and good enough there to not matter (ie: not Dean's List, but not bad).

I can't imagine why anyone I would deal with in real life would care what my GPA was at any point now.

I hit for the cycle in Univ. To this day it is my proudest achievement. For those of you unfamiliar with the term 'hit for the cycle' it means that I got every grade possible, from A to F and +/- and everything inbetween.

Ended up with a 2 something. Big deal.

No inclination to try for A's.
