Around the fifth grade I said "screw this" in regards to school, so I spent the next decade-plus doing the minimum necessary to get me to the next level. Which explains my middlin' 2.5 GPA throughout HS/College.

Otoh, I got laid a lot*, partied hard**, and now own my own one-person biz - and I wasn't stressed out about my stupid grades!

What's up with being able to get above 4? Where I went for undergrad the highest possible mark was a 4.0, given for an A (85%+).

3.6 in undergrad.

I underachieved in my first semester in Law School (2.8), but I've been known to pick it up as school goes on.

3.83 in college, but it looks like i have a chance at a 4.0 this semester, which would raise it nicely.

~3.48 overall and in mathematics

3.51 in HS (even though I am not sure how HS grades matter)

and 3.0 in grad school (As are hard to get, I almost got 2, all that matter though are A, B, C, D, or F, +s and -s don't)

this semester I am having to repair my grades because my first tests were Cs

one good point, I have never had a C for a semester grade before

Never dipped below 3.0 in college so far.

My HS GPA was rather pathetic since I never studied (ever) and did just what was required of me.

Around here a B is mandatory for grad school in required classes. Same there?

I am sort of one of those kids on the inside, but I pretend to not give a **** about my grades. The result is that I get good grades but don't act snotty about it. So it's all good.

I've never understood the GPA system at my school. It just happens to be on the transcript. So don't ask me why mine is really high.

Freeking Psychobiology killed me. They make you memorize EVERY SINGLE PART OF THE BRAIN, then they make you have to memorize the cortices and all the different chemicals in the brain.

And my Psychology of Emotions class? Well, instead of the normal teacher, they brought in a neuropsychologist from Canada who basically was teaching....you guessed it, PSYCHOBIOLOGY!

Argh! I hate brain chemicals and functions! I just don't get it!

These two classes basically cancelled out all my A's and B's......two f***ng F's destroyed my GPA
