Shall we give GoW's galley a chase with the O.G. galley?
I say why not.

I say go for it. Give their galley crew a little excitement.

It's very possible that they're going back to get more troops to board their ship. Either we'll catch the galley on its way home, or we'll find another incoming galley that's loaded. Whether we sink it or not, it'll give GoW one hell of a scare - they might even stop ferrying forces to our continent altogether after such an incident (if these are their intentions).
Btw, I suggest to sail on sea tiles when its possible to do so while still maintaining the fastest route.

I'm posting this in here in order not to get between the discussion on the turn 99 thread:

We know that the chances of a successful bombardment are unit_bombard / (unit_bombard + enemy_defense) , but how exactly is this calculated for attackers?
Bombardment units will fire at attackers if they weren't used this turn. How is the attacker's defense calculated for the probability of a successful defensive bombardment? E.g. an immortal on the spinebreakers attacks Tempest, which is on a hill. In order to calculate the chances of a successful defensive bombardment, will the computer calculate the immortal's defense with the mountain bonus of the spinebreakers or the hill bonus of Tempest, which is where he's moving into? Or will it use the immortal's attack strength rather than its defense strength?
IMHO it's important to understand this in order to increase our chances of success in some cases where we are certain that a unit will attack next turn, and we've found that our catapults have a better shot when bombarding defensively rather than offensively in this particular case.

You've got it a little off, Shiber.

Arty will fire once per 'phase'. We can fire during our turn, and the same cat will be available to defensively bombard, BUT only once each per turn.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

BTW, it's fighters that work like that. If they do anything during their turn, they cannot be available for intercept during your oppo's turn. Makes sense because intercepting is their mission for that turn.
