do French embassies have the possibilities of creating passports themselves, or are all passports printed in Paris ? If a French embassy can print passports itself, it is not impossible that some high-ranked person there has been bribed. I doubt it, but it is not to completely rule out

Since you cannot raise the credulity to this world championship level, I assume that you are just trying (and succeeding : ) at being outrageous.

The article contains mainly denials or extremely cautious comments from all officials interviewed, but you jump happily to the conclusion that this newspaper report is so obviously true that no evidence is required. I cant help you.

You could also ask yourself how a country under strict embargo can stockpile such big amounts of US currency without drawing attention.

There are two issues here.

1. Is the allegation true?

2. Was it wrong?

I have a real suspicion that you debate number 1, with the plan to retreat to 2, if it bears itself out. So let me pin you down. IF TRUE, was it right? Should we look at the French with approbation because of this? Or is this all OK?

Thinking again, as suggested, the only possibility, if the French are connected to this matter, is that they have delivered to Saddam an English passport, not perfectly authentical, but Saddam could not make difficulties. And soon, Tony will have to explain to GB what he did with the billion.

1. Has anyone read the articles that point out that the Bush administration had designs on Iraq prior to 9/11?

2. Why do people expect France or any other country to do what we say? Should we do what they say?

3. I think that the question we(Americans) should be asking ourselves is do we want to be an empire or democracy that is strong enough to defend itself and yet not bully countries unfairly. Who is wiser the founding father's or Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice and etc. One group clearly wanted us to avoid entangling alliances and wars.

4. If anyone knows anything about the formation of Nazi Germany and The Empire(Star Wars), don't we share some similarities to their formation?
