In reality I like Maryland and I actually lived in Baltimore of six months. The bay was really nice and the sea food was great (I loved the soft shell crabs especially deep fried with lots of butter). Another upside is it was really easy to get laid there; the downside is the city has one of the highest STD rates in the country. If you're visiting then pack a "rain coat".

Pride is something that drives us to do better, to have goals, and to accomplish something notable.

Humans are communal creatures, so we naturally have pride at the different community levels as well - that is only natural, and admirable, I believe.
