Yeah, I knew he was going down that path, but even though he was on the other side of the world, I prepped like he was next to me.

my first hut in the game, right beside my start , masonry...gr......

nothing got me on the path...but when math was avail and i had already met you...figured you were waaaaaaays away....i had to tip my hand, otherwise you can bet boatloads of cats were coming your way...

the best thing about cats on that map, was it allowed me to encroach your territory and you coudlnt' sneak up b/c of all the rough terrain....

i was coming to take Earth..but forgot i didn't have construction, so i went for kiev instead, and choose trade as my tech when i took the city

i had set up three cities on differnt continents for the trading strat to catch up...alas...out went the lights....

Earth might have been a little harder... two vet Chariots and some vet archers. It wasn't as undefended as the two new cities of mine that you destroyed

and kiev should never have allowed me to march up, i had to stay in his radius and avoid mings..couldn't do both.....

but barono only had defensive units in their, and we know what vet pults do to things on forests

Yeah... after the first cat sighting, Offensive units became my highest priority. And when "somebody" beat me to Sun's... I built barracks to have vet attackers. When you "left" the game... I was ready to crank the settler out that was going to build the fortress on the river outside of Earth... and I was working on math as well

I was building a wonder and deciding which one to build since most of them were still avail. I was away from most of the action, but War influenced me, and I built it so no one else could.

There's a little of that naturally, but I disagree on this one. I knew what I was going to build, but I was listening to his recommendations to see how much I could learn about what was going on over on that side of the world. I knew he was a short ocean ride from me, and as soon as he said he was sending out cats, I started to prepare for a possible landing behind me. I may talk to him, but I have too much respect of his abilities and gamesmanship to totally trust him

rah was IMO too far away from me...i had you and barono encroaching ...so i naturally struck at whom i could get my cats too quickly while i had the advantage.

yeah, but i had no idea how big that sea between us was rah..plus that is where i found the landmasses 3 and 5 and dropped cities to set up the trade network, and the turn i am going to deliver..down down down in a burning flame of fire..

it was a fuse issue again, not computer or isp....and me without fuses....

however we bought some more....6 sunday so i am good to go....

damm i go through fuses alot

Get a dozen or two... it was disappointing to finally get in the early satuday night game, knowing it could be a long game for a change, and having you disappear just as it was getting REALLY interesting... As it was, I had to settle for a cheap powergraph win

i don't own the place...and the building is 60 yrs old...so it comes with one drawback...you can't run the computer and ANY other appliance at the same time well not entirely true but you catch my drift.....

Of course, there's always mini UPSs for PCs. They aren't even that expensive anymore. You could get one that would last long enough to replace the fuse.

It's a rechargable battery so it's plugged in but not used until it senses a power loss. Then it seemlessly ( )kicks in and can last anywhere between 30 minutes or days, depending on the size and how much you're sucking off of it.

well , i guess i could run if from the other fuse...what kind of drain would that put on my current circuitry though...

sounds rough, i think the 1.29 fuses are better, they just requiring screwing in and voila...back in action
