EDIT: Whoever you are, Grumatopia (I know I've seen some Grumatopia on Apolyton before ) I've sent you 3 shipments full of cash-65+60+55million or so. The loan and interest.

And since no one's objected yet, I'll continue crushing 30. I tried at the beginning of the server reset to create an isolationist state which only attacked as defense, but I'm apparently going to turn out like a weak US -- I proclaim myself as the righteous, pacifistic character then I go and attack someone and grab up all of their land (See US History to 1876. )

I don't need the money all back. I seem to be able to embezzle at will if I choose the right opponent. The last couple days I have fleeced #30 for over a $200Billion. I catch him right after he gets half a billion from somewhere but has low wizards, a dozen embezzles later he's broke again.

Ive got, it, just tried an experiment.

I did a farm turn and received +$4,521,919 net & +577,389 net grain.

I then did a cash turn and received +$8,499,120 net & +386,986 net grain.

This means although on the Farm turn I received $3.977,201 less cash I received and extra 190403 grain which if sold on the black market for $6 would net me $1,142,418.

I still dont see the value of what they are doing is any better than the cash harvesting I do.

What is VERY concerning is that #46 (and #38) has have been able to is keep a low profile and just accumulate money/grain while not getting attacked / attacking people.

They are obviously preparing for an offensive, we must counter them before they can do this.

These non-aligns are hard to attack because of the attack limit. Just as you seem to be getting somewhere, you can't attack for an hour. They get back on in that hour and you back to square one.

Swissy - yes I know, im afraid we are going to have that problem.

We might need to post maybe a daily list of selected targets and each clan member should try to attack them each hour they are online.

I imagine within there is rivalry for being top (I am certainly competitive - if you hadnt already guessed by all my posts lol). I know we dont gain much personally from attacking tarkets that dont have much land but we need to keep some of the good players down.

My preferred target list (of potential threats) is:

HIT ME FOO! (#46)
I HATE RESETS (#38)
Nidaros (#30)
Purple People Eater (#4)

I've recovered a little, and though I've lost a hell of a lot of citizens, I see the light at the end of the tunnel now... *relief*

With enough attacking I was able to get enough land to build enough markets to break into the positive cashflow again.

Keep trying the attacks on #46, #38 and now #70. ive just got through.


*** We are facing a very strong threat *** ***


These three empires - #46, #38 & #70 are grain harvesting at an immense rate. 46 alrady has enough grain to sell to get $7billion and the other 2 are not far behind.

At some point in the next few days they are going to sell all this grain, build lots of units and attack.

We need to cash/grain harvest, to do this take a block of turns, then before you start harvesting sell as many units as you can on the black market, convert all non wizzard, market, hut and farm buildings to markets / farms (to do this you can demolish and rebuild).

Then take blocks of maybe 50 or 100 turns (up to 300 - 500 in total) as cash turns, use your turns and check the results. Ive just done it this morning and made $6billion cash and 300,000 grain.

The harvesting may be more difficult for the non established empires, if you are struggling to keep land stay as you are we can send you money later if you need it.

The important thing is for us to all build up a supply of money / grain to sell to buy units for when the inevitable attack comes.

Also, our best defence is to continually attack them, so continue to try attacking these empires every hour.

Finally, keep an eye on whats going on in the game, you need to take the harvesting turns quickly then re-buy back your defence at the end.
