If anyone else is out there this minute and reading this, I've got two things:

1) Black Flag (10) is defenseless against Stone Bombardment, and yes, I am in the final phase of eliminating him. (I don't forget who crosses me )

2) Anyone need any units? I'm not strong enough to keep up with ALL of whut Barley (StormWarrior2) sent me. (But don't worry, it all came in use! )

only got in a run of 3 storms, barley he seems to just explore whatever land you take. Nobody attack him today, i'll log on this afternoon and try get 10 straight storms to finish him off.

I put him into protection. This is going to be annoying if we have limited attacks while theres like 10 of us he can hit. I hope we get the full 20 or so hits back if he launches an attack

What sort of strategy can we use, hes always going to make a land profit when he attacks ant player with more land than him.

We need to figure out how to play the game and how to attack to get the most benefit. I imagine he will target Ottomania (#16) or Sheng-ji Yang (#49) later tonight or tomorrow!

At the moment I dont know what we can do to stop him!

Disband the clan, divide up the land by attacking each other so we all have about 50k, then divide up the money that we all have (I have $32bil).

Any other ideas?

Disbanding the clan would take care of the problem?

And BTW, you can give land, just like you can give money or units IIRC, so I see no point in changing what we have.

Sorry, but I have to go...I'm beating up on 10 again. I'll be gone for a full day so I'm going to buy up a lot of units before I go for defense against Mr. Attack-Happy (namor.)

EDIT: BTW, I could use some money too. (Mil upkeep.)
DITTO: Yeah, dunno how $200mil is going to keep me through...in good news, however, 10 is down to 300 acres. However, I'm not a killer, so if one of you want to finish him while I'm gone, feel free. I find it REALLY suspicious how he went from 2bill to 18bill while at the same time #7 dropped alot of NW, and we all know how much NW cash is making up at these later stages of the game ... dammit no amount of units is going to be worthwhile if he spends all that on zepplins.

Also im curious to know if the target goes into protection via a certain amount of attacks made OR attacks succeeded, im guessing it will be the later but if it is the former then we could all help each other out by performing attacks with just 1 unit and keeping each other defended.

Ive hit him again about 4 times, #46 is already back down to 26k land (most of what he got). I think the key is to build a defence he cannot penetrate no matter what the cost to us. I am making a profit of about £8-10bit per 400 turns of cashing so can afford to buy and dispose of a defence of about 20,000 of each unit type. I suspect those of us over 50k land can afford to do the same. I can distribute spare cash if anyone needs help to do the same (am currently running with a float of about $40bil).

If we all buy masses of units not only will he have to buy about 10mil to attack us (imagine the effect of the clan defence as well - lol). If he is having to buy so many units to attack with the poor cash flow and reserves he has 15 attacks will mean he has to sustain about 100 turns with a net turn loss of about $20-30mil.

Its worth a try. I think it will certainly minimise how much land grabbing he can do. Once he's attacked we get 20 attacks on him plus one every hour, with this strategy we should be able to contain him.

One other point, I think any attacker needs to have 10-20% of your net worth to attack you.

Laz,

Not sure on the possibility of #46 and #7 collaborating, try and monitor it with spy reports. My guess would be that #7 just has a lot of troops and the drop is accounted for by his fluctuating numbers.
