Is Play the World worth buying? Inflate your Upload Space

I haven't played civ 3 in several months because I have been so busy. I am thinking about purchasing Play the World, but I am wondering if it is full of bugs.

Are the extras worth it?
Is multiplayer fun and similar to the regular version?
How long does it take to play a multiplayer game, and how easy is it to play without getting you butt kicked because you could't move something fast enough or did not have enough time to deal with some city issues?
Has cruption been fixed yet?

I am just trying to find out if it is worth buying?

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

The user interface is clearly improved and you get some new city improvements and units, but if that is worth it is hard to say. Depends on the price and how fanatic you are. I don't play MP so I don't know about the bugs.

If you already have Civ3...then the simple answer is YES PTW is well worth it.
