	Least desirable holiday destinations Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Read a story in my morning paper about the threat level to travellers in different countries following recent events that we're all too familiar with, i.e. terror, disease and violent criminal activity.

Very few white spots on the world map outside the traditional "Western world"...

So in terms of personal safety, which country would you want to visit the least at the moment? I've given some choices in the poll, but the list is not exhaustive, I'm afraid.

Yes, this may be my conservative American bias showing again, but France should be up there because of the rude way they treat tourists, especially American ones.

I've heard countless stories of rampant Anti-Americanism, attacks at fast food restaurants, making fun of Americans that try to speak French, and refusing to speak in English even when they they do know a little.

I think France would be a wonderful country.......

Haiti is pretty nice really. I have been their twice and I was always treated with smiles. I especially liked the "tap taps". You might call them buses with built in entertainment.

So do we. In fact, Brit accents generally get stronger when there's a Yank tourist or 2 about. French is not a dificult language to get by in - if you make the attempt, they will generally use a bit of English to get the communication going.

Many Brits say this as well. I do not agree with them.

If you're so proud of democracy, you can hardly complain when a democratic country's public opinion expresses itself in foreign policy.

A banana option should clearly be labelled with the word "banana" otherwise it ISN'T a banana option.

Either something is a standard - or some people are being too clever and confusing people not familiar with the banana industry.

If this trend grows, I'm going to start labelling my banana options with the word "Ffyffes"
