The germans bring up fresh troops from western europe to garrison captured soviet cities and relieve the exhausted east-front units
the russian master spy, Richard Sorge has infiltrated japanese government circles and obtained the details of the japanese warplans in manchuria. his report assures stalin that there is no immediate japanese threat against the soviet far east. veteran siberian divisions immediately start shuttling west via the trans siberian railroad to meet the german offensive
6 Units lost!

Orel builds barracks

Perekop can't maintain Marketplace. Marketplace sold for 60,000
Soviets discover advanced flight II

many cities starving/several laborer units lost
Leningrad can't maintain sea port. sea port sold for 160,000 rubles
Ending treasury of 428,000 rubles
2 Su-122 are two squares south of Kalinin with movement points left, they are for comrade anzakoyov's front.
The Su-122 guarding the northern part of the Belorussian front was destroyed in battle, as was the labor brigade near the minefield. I predict that on the next turn, the whole northern part of the front will collapse, there is only a Red Army Unit and machine gunner there, both damaged.
Comrade Anzakoyov, if you decide to call off your attack on Kholm, please hand over one of the Su-122's south of Kalinin to the Belorussian front.
Front Commanders PLEASE WAIT 12 HOURS BEFORE BEGINING PLAY. This will allowe citizens to examine the save and offer an opinion on strategy before you play your turn, please post screen shots, your plans for the turn etc, at this time.
COMMANDERS AND MINISTERS: IF YOU DO NOT POST THE STATUS OF WHO HAS PLAYED WHEN YOU RETURN THE SAVE, YOU WILL BE SENT TO THE GULAG. I've warned all of before, and after last turn, I will brook no more ignoring of my orders. I don't know how to make this more clear.

I'm going to post some things I found, but these are not meant as blames or remarks or anything towards the people playing. God knows I often forget things
1. If we change in Kuybyshev the 2 food in to a 1 food, 2 shields, we get the barracks in two turns instead of three.
2. In Moscow, we get a T-34 in 1 turn and we are building the Su-122. It has a better attack value, but soon summer is there and we might need T-34's more
3. We could take the LA-5 from Krasnodar to the front, where we can use it in the summer (cfr air raids)
4. The Red armies leaving Archangelsk would have gotten to the front earlier if we had used the freighter sleeping on one of the mines (I wondered where it had gone, and found it there)
5. Shouldn't we change production in Kaluga and Tula to Red Guards or something? We need the troops!
6. We should fortify Orel if we do not plan to keep Kursk, for otherwise that flank will fall and they will go for Moscow from the south and for the Ural
7. Shouldn't we take the AA battery from Saratov to Serafimovich? Planes will first attack Serafimovich, and only attack Saratov when Serafimovich falls into German hands, which should be avoidable
8. We could take the red army south of Krasnodar and send it to the front, it is guarding a (for the moment) nonetential route through the mountains
More to come.
Finally some more transports! We need the money, we lost the sea port in Leningrad
(We might think of rushbuying it back, otherwise Leningrad is a much less producing city)

9. We should rehome the red army in novorossiysk (the one from tbilisi) because it costs a shield in Tbilisi
10. We could use the AA battery from Maikop, and replace it by the red army mentioned in 8.
11. We should also rehome the AA battery from batumi which is in Kerch
12. If we take the 1 food, 2 trade from Gorkiy and place it west of the city, there is no longer hunger AND we produce more shields

You have launched the raid against Hammersfest. I have two questions: why did you leave the AA batterie in Archangelsk (why not leave a red army and take the AAA to a place where it can be of more use)? What are your plans with the UK freighter? Disband it in Murmansk for shields, send it back to the UK, ...?

I have two questions.
1. Who is in charge for Tula and Kaluga? Don't we need them to produce troops?
2. Have we thought about air coverage for the offensive against Kholm? We have no problem with air raids in winter, but soon German planes will take off again and strike at our cities. We will never get AA batteries there in time, so if we want to keep this city, we will need to send a LA-5. If we don't we could loose many troops to Nazi warplanes, especially Stuka's!
PS This comes together with point 2. Our air force is spread very uneven. Both the north and the south have some planes, but the centre has almost none. This makes the centre vulnerable in cases as mentioned above. We might consider redistributing our planes over the entire front!
