nope , that aint the problem , the problem itselfs is the people who made the roadmap , the us was laft out on most things , the EU who happens to fund the pa by the way is the main body together with russia who draw up the paper , .....
when we where in brussels talking and forming this document the eu people had a guy who did not even know where israel lay on the map , .......
one guy thought we had a border with iraq , .....
any plan is doomed if its draw up if neither of the involved parties can have something to say in it , ....
both the israeli and the pa where send home and in brussels they told us not to interfere , ....
the words to the plo ambassador where ; "go home there is nothing you are going to change about it" , .....
we left together and went for some drinks together , ....
we both know that this is going to fail one day or the other , .....
and yet , we try to make the best of it , .....
we try to live up to some-one elses expectations , .....  onesmore , .... *sigh*
this is a roadmap that ones more can lead for both sides to a complete disaster , ..... as one us state dep person mentioned , .....

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, if the road map is an externally imposed plan and neither Israel or the Palestinians like it then go and agree something between yourselves.

unfortunatly the eu as the main leader of this tend to sabotage every single move we make , they just want to come out and show they world what good they have done , ..... 
our terms are allready known for a long time , we do every thing we can from the Israeli side , ......
yet the bombs keep going off , ......
today we pulled out of tulkarem , do you see it some where in the papers , ....????
as long as there is outside involment and as long as some nations continue to fund terrorists we shall have what we see today , ......
as long as one yasser and his pa are in control we shall see what we have today , .....

From my point of view, the most critical element in achieving peace is getting a good government in Palestine, elected by the people and dedicated to ending terrorism.
I have no hope that that will ever occur, even though the Road Map calls for it.
Once the Roadmap fails, and it will, I see only two possibilites. 1) Israel annexes the whole of Palestine and makes everyone Israeli citizens other than members of terrorist groups or the current PA; or
2) turn the whole thing back over to Jordan, and negotiate with Jordan concerning RoR, etc.
Let the people of Palestine vote on these choices. 1, 2 or 3. Three, of course, is the status quo -- meaning endless occupation.

Abbas doesn't have anywhere near the political capital he needs yet to be tough on terrorism. He was just brought in out of the wilderness, few Palestinians support him. Plus, the PA's security forces are a mess. Already the false outrage wears away at the peace plan.
