	Field Marshall Philip Dunning seizes power in Sheepsta Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

The Unified Republics of Sheepsta are dead. The Armed Republic of Sheepsta, has been declared by Field Marshall Philip Dunning.

He immediatley layed out the first year's plan for his new government, that armed services.

1/ Military budget will be tripled in the next twelve months, with a futher 500% increase expected in five years.
2/ All connections Sheepsta has to nuclear non-proliferation or first strike treaties are to be broken.
3/ Trade is to be resumed. No more stupid socialist politics that have crippled the economic power of the nation.
4/ All public companies are to be sold to Sheepstan citizens.
5/ All Alecrastians, Bulbagardens, non-white Sheepstans, non-christian Sheepstans are no longer to be considered Sheepstan citizens.
6/ The Field Marshall ruler of the Sheepstan Republic will be in term for life.
7/ Education is to be regeared to teach that military prowress is better than diplomatic bullshit.
8/ Sheepsta is to be taught to seek revenge for the injustices of the past.
9/ Environmantal controls will be loosened, to allow big buisness back in
10/Racist programming will be re-introduced
11/ Democratic institutions will be demolished.
12/ The offical language of Sheepsta will hence forward be known as Sheepstan, not Ale-Sheepas
13/Trade is to be commenced. This is to be started by selling 10 nuclear ICBMS from the over stocked nuclear stockpile, mainly to other nations.
14/ The treaty of Mt.Gravatt will still remain a commitment in Sheepsta.
15/ All political parties will be hence forward banned. Their leaders imprisoned for cirmes against Sheepsta.
16/ The proper title for the Field Marshall will be observed at all times, and Sheepstans are required to say Heil Dunning, instead of Hello to their fellow citizens.
17/All non-citizens currently living in Sheepsta, will be deported, by Christmas, important buisness provided. Applications for citizenship or buisness visas must be submitted by the end of the month.

Upon being informed of the coup in Sheepsta, President Arrayende remarked to the press "Well, so much for their pretensions to 'democracy'. They've now dumped even the sham that they maintained previously and restored the Holy Empire in all but name. I hope other states in the region will finally start waking up to the monsters they've allowed to grow unchecked here before they decide to extend their aggression - or use their nukes to aid someone else's."

In retaliation of Centralian comments. The leader, Field Marshall Dunning exclaimed ' Ahh yes the good old Lord Protector. How the past always haunts the present. However Centralis needs to realise what works for Sheepsta is strong leadership. The armed services and the junta has given them that.

We also have taken precautions not taken by the previous regime to stall a future conflict. However as of yet we shall defend ourselves if provoked. Democracy failed in Sheepsta because someone wanted it to fail. We are here to pick up the pieces and take vengence upon them.

Noosland denounces the destablising effect that Sheepsta has brought on by renewing the regional arms race. In no uncertain terms, Noosland condemns Sheepsta for breaking of international treaties, particularly the NNPT, and the exporting of nuclear technology.

The government of USJ regrets the fall of the democratic government in Sheepsta. The USJ also is recalling its ambassador and staff back to Jackson and the carriers USS Kitty Hawk and the USS Lincoln are now off shore of Sheepsta.

We find it somewhat odd that it took Jackson this long to lament the fall of demcoracy, given that it was last known in Sheepsta under the Protectorates...

EDIT: Although now that we have been reminded of it, there was a very brief period of demcoracy following that, but it was overlooked for that reason.

The time before the leaders promiced to put up a democratic government and they did for a while put a democratic government in place. And at that time the government of Jackson believed SHeepsta when it said this.

I might remind Centrails that Jackson was one of the nations to send to troops to help the United States of Sheepsta bring down the Holy Empire of Sheepsta.

You make no sense here. If you mean that the former regime promised to implement democracy and you believed them, then we are afraid that you were duped. Except for a single brief period (which lasted only as long as it took for the government to remove it), Sheepsta has not had democracy since the Protectorates were dissolved. This is a fact, and one which will not be changed by any amount of distortion on the part of the Sheepstan government or anybody else.

Field Marshall Dunning assures you all that no untowed steps towards Alecrast or Bulbargarden shall be made. However the military government of Sheepsta is legal, in the fact that the constitution of the Unfied Sheepstan Republics was suspeneded in the aftermath of the parliamentry bombings.

The government of the USR, was then liable to only one check and balance, the military. The proposed cut to the military budget and the implementation of barcoding citizens, attributed to the Green Party President, was the last straw.

Many political figures in Wine openly declared their disappointment to the recent events happened in Sheepsta, and many more are pressing the actual Wine Prime Minister to officialy NOT-recognize the Military Regime now in Sheepsta.

Despite that the Wine government in itself did not officialy declared anything, and because of this various politicians are starting to get annoyed by the Savonarola administration and are asking for new elections to be held.

Akiria judges governments on actions they take rather than any notion of legitimacy. We recognise the new government, but will keep a close watch on it, due to its militaristic nature.

The LF will closely monitor this new government, a vote in the senate has declared them legitimate, but will hold judgement until they "show their cards".

We cautiously welcome their statement that they will not attack others and encourage them to keep to that.

You broke international treaties to which you were a signatory, and you didn't even remove yourself from those treaties beforehand. You being part of the regional court is irrelevant to this.

We can't. Him announcing he sold Nukes on the Apolyton Regional Board came before he posted about the takeover here as far as I can recall, but his first post here about it

In any case.....I feel rather comfortable saying this considering the relative sizes of the economies and populations, so.........Dunning, you will cease selling nukes, make yourself again signatory to the first strike and nuke treaties, and, as a penalty for your actions, destroy Sheepstas nuclear stockpiles then step down, or you will face military action. If an ABC news reporter posing as a terrorist can buy one of your nukes (OOC: And he did. *Points first to trading thread then to ABC thread*), then you are certainly up there for being the most irresponsible Sheepstan "government" yet.

Suppose that means Sheepsta withdraws from these treaties. Since they do not have any provisions for such withdrawal, these actions constitutes as breaking the treaties.

Archaic I posted them on the forums there AFTER I posted this thread. Don;t make **** up.

As for breaking treaties how can I break them, when in all esscence it is a new country. If you remember The Unfied Sheepstan Republics never signed those treaties. The United States of Sheepsta a signatory to them was destroyed during the protectorates scandal. How could I break them when in affect I was never really part of them.

And to Alecrast, any military action taken against Sheepsta or any of its allies will result in a region-wide nuclear war. You have been warned.

We spit on your ultimatum. The Armed Republic of Sheepsta will not enter any such treaties. The Unified Sheepstan republics did not neither did the old Holy Empire of Sheepsta. The only people who did was the United States of Sheepsta and that nation is no more.

Our government is not tied into theirs and is not accountable for their actions. We have received notice from all our allies that your warmongering will cause a regional inter-alliance war and will result in massive desturction.

We reiterate, any action taken against a member of Mt.Gravatt will result in the utter destruction of Alecrast and its allies.

We also issue a counter-ultimatum. The King of Alecrast must step down, to be replaced with Sheepsta's help. WMD must be handed over to Sheepsta or a member of Mt. Gravatt.

We do understand your concern. However Alecrast did start this crisis, and will be held responsible. No ultimatums will be adhered to and any attack on Sheepsta will incur the wrath of Mt.Gravatt. In return we expect Alecrastian allies to retaliate.

Therefore it is simple. Withdraw from the alliance yo have with Alecrast and you will not be harmed.
