This is a major diplomatic leap for us, and it needs to be followed up upon. With the very likely possibility that Vox will be destroyed by GS, we have begun to look to the possibility that we're going to have to deal with GS on a non-military basis.
While it cannot be denied that we are an obvious target for GS, we need to do our best to convince them that there are far more dangerous nations out there, Legoland for one, to try to reduce the probability that they will invade us.
This chat also brings forth the very profitable possibility that we can and will trade luxuries with GS in the near future. By doing so, we will have SEVEN luxuries at our disposal, and we will be celebrating in every city! Also, if we trade to GS luxuries on our eastern shore (Silk and Spices) we could very easily encourage them not to invade us ... they would gain nothing they did not already have.
We have never in our history actually sat down and talked with GS and this chat is a sign that things are going in the right direction. Let us not assume too much from it, it is very possible that they will think that we are deceiving them, therefore, we must continue to follow up with friendly and fair offers for trades, and we must seriously revisit our decision to send military aid to the Voxians.
