Well, bearing in mind the last was polyrising... how about cdgfalling?

EDIT: Can we have Foreign Affairs chat a bit with CDG? It can just be waffle, but I'd much like to have channels going at all times. Besides, we may garner a nugget of info on how they're going with the techs for the trade, asking them about their expansion plans etc....

Just to keep in mind to them that we are nice and inoffensive and friendly, but at the same time we aren't dropping the ball.

We can and will have one if we can ever get them into chat....

I sent an email to Kentonio this afternoon inviting him to join us in our ISDGchat channel on Poly to continue talks... but he never showed up and even though Poly chat went down, Kentonio is in the UK and is generally online during the earlier hours.

BigFree and I regularly idle in a chat channel/embassy we've set up for CDG to chat with us. They've used it a few times in the past, and know how to get ahold of us.

We also visit their chatroom on occasion but I haven't seen a person in there in the past 3 months.

Bottom Line: These guys are not easy to get ahold of and to chat with.

Thanks Togas - just wanting to make sure the effort is made to engage them in regular diplomacy whilst we plan their DOOM. It's gotta be one of the first rules of successful warfare - don't let on until the latest time possible.

Okay, in that course, Togas will be merc #4... I'm still workign on Warrior 11 (No one had any suggestions)

I am not usually supersticious, but DoomBringer seems to be a double edged sword. May I pass on that one?

Ming... just as serving Consuls should be skipped due to political reasons, with other teams more than ours, I do not think waving a 'Ming' under any ones noses would be a good idea either.

Can we continue the search for W10 and 11 names?

Gilgamesh (kinda Babylonian but still I like it)
Lionheart (after Richard the)

How about war-titles or descriptions rather than names (the Vikings are getting to me in the SPDG )?

Remember, we don't really need perfect names - think of the number of soldiers we will build in this game!

The "before turn" shot is a great idea. If that could be put that up at least a couple of hours before we actually play the turn, I'm sure everyone would get a better picture, and therefore would feel more "into it".

The city we were planning to put on the Dyes close to Cuido de Alcohol may have to be pushed up in the queue a bit: there's the chance that CDG rushes a Temple, denying us our spot yet staying true to our border agreement. I suggest that city goes up next after Horsetown.

Status: much of which is revealed by BigFree's shot. very good.

MapMaking in 1 with research set down to 60%. Losing one additional beaker makes it 2 turns. We nailed it.

CDG warrior Morris is on the horse.

Etruscan horseman nowhere in site. PanzerWarrior is unwounded. Either the horse attacked and died without causing a dent, or it is in the game tile that we cannot see.

Not much else.
