San Miguel is ok but believe it or not I find Thai, Korean, and Japanese brews to be better. The Thais mostly make European brews under licience but the Koreans and Japanese actually have their own brands which are quite good. I suspect it was Japan's relationship with Germany (remember Korea was a Japanese colony then) which spread quality beer making there.

Alcohol is fine in moderation. A glass of red wine a day is good for the heart.
