the thing is in california you can live in a place like georgia (bakersfield, fresno) but without all the bad things. in georgia its all bad.

Let's face it. California is way better. We have better weather, cuter girls, a better economy, more room to roam, better food (yuck! Sweet tea.), better wine, better beer, better cheese, better quality of life, more money. .. In short life is better in California.

To cement it even further: Savannah, which is miles ahead of Cali. And Athens, GA is the best college party town in the US.

tuber, the thing is in california you can move to a place without smog like lake shasta or lake tahoe. you dont have to live in LA or Silicon Valley.

you can live in lahonda and be within 15 minutes of san francisco and still be pretty isolated.

Higher cost of living= market deciding who's better.

California has the highest mountains. Georgia has crappy hills they call mountains (think of stone mountain with it's racist rebel carvings). California has beautiful coasts, vast forests, huge deserts, temperate rain forests, meditereanian coastal zones, and lush grasslands; while Georgia has redneck infested, humide, nasty, woodland, filled with poor white trash and black people neither of whom can speak correct English.

That's not what playboy said. My old Almamature was named their numer one party school. Throw in great beaches, California surfer girls (ever seen a holiwood movie? How many of the girls are from Georgia? ho0w many are from California? I rest my case.), and the fact that its not 105 with 100% humidity and you see why we're light years ahead of you philistines.

I'll believe that when I see a rib shack in California that can make anything close to the ribs in North Georgia. And California doesn't have sweet tea. It's fried chicken isn't nearly as good.

Check any gourmet magazine. You will find tons of restaurants from California but a small, small handful from Georgia. Lastly, look at the amount and quality of the ethnic food available we're simply light years away from you folks. Remember where 50% of all fruits and vegetables in the US are grown? Remember where the most beef, lamb and fish are grown/caught? I'll give you a hint it isn't Georgia. Face it our food is fresher, it's locally grown, and it's prepared by some of the best chiefs in the world while Georgia is.... Well, none of the above.

Amount and quality of ethnic food is lacking? LOL I can go half an hour from my apartment and hit dozens of cuisines, from Vietnamese to Ethopian to Lebanese to Greek to Mexican. You name it, it's close by.

And like I said, can't come close in BBQ. That is God's gif to humans. The best food EVER is slow cooked BBQ ribs. Whoever makes them best makes the best food in the world, that simple .

Imran, opinions arent fact. you know this. the fact is though californian food is lauded by everyone from the press to tourists to the locals, while people only know georgia for peaches and peanut farms and billy beer.
