staznes- From the Dawn of Time
Yes I can support 3 NES's, Ill be updating more reguarly now that i have even more time. Hopefully every 2 days.
Welcome to my fourth NES!
This NES, as you probably have guessed, is based off of Jason’s (stjnes4) Skilord’s (Absolution) and Naervod’s (stnanes). It is story, and ill try to update every two days. It is also winnable.
There are restrictions in military size:
1. None
2. tiny
3. small
4. medium
5. large
6. very large
7. gigantic
8. Imperial
You can mobilize your army for a bonus in attacking. To mobilize a size three army (medium) and below, it takes 1 turn. For every size going up it increases a turn (Large would be 2 turns, Very Large would be 3 turns). You must one wait turn after your army finishes mobilizing to have the effect (so if I have a medium army and say mobilize in my orders, I can't attack with mobilized army the same turn)
To Increase your economy, you must do something first - build roads, decrease taxes, do something. If you want to increase economy, that is the only thing you can increase in a turn. It takes one turn.
Economy Sizes:
Depression
Recession
Failing
Stable
Growing
Prosperous
Outstanding
Confidence in leader is usually determined by how often you write stories and can give good bonuses
You can make wonders, and say what they do. I will then determine the amount of turns it takes.
You cant upgrade military and economy at the same turn.
Ugrading miltary tech level costs one economy and decreases whatever branch your upgrading.
I will determine when each person advances an age. Education helps. And confidence helps slightly.
Education Levels:
1. backwards
2. poor
3. illiterate
4. literate* (limit until industrial age)
5. bright
6. intelligent
7. very intelligent
You may have UU's that you make. You can only have one per nation per age. You make it and describe it, but don’t make it to extravagant!
You may create your own civ. Here is the Template:
Nation Name
Ruler:
Government: (only despotism or tribal, or religious)
Army: (small or tiny or medium without a navy)
Navy: (small or tiny)
Age: Stone Age
Education: Poor
Confidence in Leader: Medium
Also include at the bottom a little indication of where the civ is located.
Hope i didnt copy too much of your stuff jason
Ages:
Stone Age- current age
Copper Age
Barbarian Age
Bronze Age
Iron Age
Classical Age
Dark Age
Colonial Age
Imperial Age
Industrial Age
Pre Modern Age
Modern Age
UU's:

"... the Greek, for they long for domination over us 'Barbarians'!"
-cheers-
The high priest enters the Counsil.
"So your proposal is war, General?"
"Excellence, yes. I humbly suggest we stop the Greek threat as long as we are able to. Think of the treasures they hold..."
The high priest laughed.
"I knew you were greedy, General, but invading the Greek at a time when we han hardly feed our own people... However, I will let the counsil decide."
-murmuring-
Finally the speaker of the council announces:
"We, the Elder Counsil of Byzantium, have decided. Our purpose has to be the well-being of our people, not the unprovoked attack on a peaceful neighbour which would likely lead to an exhausting war and probably to our own destruction.
Our people first!
We need reforms in agriculture and administration!"

Kingdom of Kiev
Ruler: Kishka
Government: Despotism
Army: Small
Navy: Tiny
Age: Stone Age
Education: Poor
Confidence in Leader: Medium
The Kingdom of Kiev is located in the areas around the fertile banks of the Dniepr River where the Dniepr enters the Black Sea, which is on the northern shore of the Black Sea just to the west of the Crimean Penninsula.
**************************************************
*****
Before the Kievan people decided to settle down and start an urban lifestyle, the Kievan people had wandered the steppes of Far Eastern Europe and Central Asia, living a nomadic lifestyle under their previous leader, Lyantskoronsky, and for a thousand years before that. When he passed away, and his son Kishka took over, Kishka along with the religious leaders of the group decided that it was time to settle down at a permanent location. They journeyed west for what seemed like years until they reached the fertile lands on the banks of a river that the locals named Dniepr. They built their first town, Kiev, on the banks of the Dniepr. The town grew and its people prospered under the strong rule of Kishka. The Kievans expanded their power down the banks of the Dniepr to its mouth at the Black Sea. They then established another town along the Black Sea coast, Odessa. They also established a military to protect their wealth from nomadic tribes jealous of their lifestyle, and they built a tiny navy to expedite expansion along the shore of the Black Sea.
The Kievan leaders look to expand their power even more.

Kingdom of South Africa
Ruler: Dimonty
Government: Religious
Army: Medium
Navy: None
Age: Stone Age
Education: Poor
Confidence in Leader: Medium
In the beginning the was dirt and sky. Then the sky gave birth to the noble sun. The sun gave to the dirt water, rain, and life. All worked together to create man. To guide the tribes of men that were born the sun gave life to one man to unite all. The Men of South Africa have been united under One man.
The Great King Dimonty has united many villages under his rule. As King it is his right to have his will done. His will unto the villages is to grow and expand his power. Our enemies fight with there hands let us fight with stone axes and slings. Let the skins of our food protect the god-warriors that leave the villages to add more to our domains.

[OOC]
Sheep: With a medium army you are not allowed to maintaine any fleet, as stated by Methril in the first post. Shall he change that, please change my stats to Sheep´s
Methril: Although you did say the world is uninhabited, I assumed Greek tribes living there. It is much more fun if you can assimilate other people without havin war with a PC or NPC. Is that ok?

Byzatium, Eastern Roman Empire
"My people! These times hold great challenges to everyone of us. We live in a world which only waits for us to come and settle down on it!
Since the Unification of the towns of Constantinople and Adrianople our civilization prospered in peace. Now that the towns steadily grow bigger, we need to find more space to live in. The valleys across the Bosporus look fertile, but our ancestors told us about horrible creatures living there.
To the North, our scouts have found hostile tribes, but they are less in number than we are.
However, the counsil decided that our future lies in the West. The ancient tribes, which call themselves "Greek", don´t care whether foreign people settle along their coast. They are selfish and ignorant, but we can use this for our advantage.
Their land is rich in whool, and they know how to grow wine and olive trees. There´s much we could learn from them, and our Elders didn´t see any dangers for us in that land.
People of Constantinople, your high priest asks you to chose one of three men and one of three women to set sail to the spot known as 'Chalkis'. It is located in the middle of a huge Island to the Northeast of the Greek town of Athenai. Found a permanent settlement there, and scout the whole area for future town sites.
People of Adrianople, the Elder Council has chosen you to fullfill a highly important task: Expand our civilization to the Southwest!
There is a large peninsula, shaped like three fingers on a hand. Our ancestors knew it was a sacred place, and only the most faithful are allowed to settle there by the gods.
Now the Oracle of Adrianople revealed that 1500 of you, chosen by a blind virgin, are predetermined to found the town of 'Thessaloniki' there.
Gather in the evening of the next full moon on the central forum in Adrianople. The virgin will then chose the happy ones that are allowed to be the first to cross the sacred land."
Orders
- Found the town of Chalkis
- Found the town of Thessaloniki
- Begin the reform of agriculture (establish farms instead of pure fishing)
- Begin influencing the Greek area (send scouts, which then spread our culture there)

Uroshnor, Capital of Badab
"People of Badab!" Proclaimed the Tyrant from his palace, "the past few years have been good ones for us. We have seen many good harvests. We have more to eat now than we did then.
"I have a vision! Soon, we shall no longer depend upon the whim of the rains and clouds to be able to harvest. We shall harness the rivers themselves and put them to work watering our crops. We will have all we need to eat, and more.
"This project will require much hard work, and thus, by imperial decree, every adult male in the land must spend one month each year working to carry out my vision. When the project, which I have termed 'irrigation', is complete, the benefits willr epay you and your descendants a hundred-fold!"
Orders:
As you might have guessed, start working on an extensive iirrigation system (plus roads, as well), to improve the economy and help stabilize the food supply.
