Thorn, other people might find you very odd.
Believe it or not, compared to some people I know, you are pretty straightforward. At least you still have a life to live - others don't have that.
As for what people think of me, well, I don't get personal with them. The personal insults seem a good idea in school.
One day we all leave school and have to go out in the world - for some peope, this is sooner than others.
I'm not saying this is fair or just or good - it just is.

Best way to prove other people wrong is to be a success.
I mean, you CAN'T chop off limbs on Internet - so what is point of making threat? It just seems lame, eh?
Maybe not so much question of stopping old habits as starting new ones - and keeping at them.

Hmm.. I guess everyone is interesting in their own way. You just have to find what it is.. This doesn't mean you are like this, but in general: Don't pass judgements on people too fast. Let them have another chance, and then another chance.
If you disagree with people, well that's sweet because what's the point of coming here to talk and everyone agreeing with each other? And if someone disagrees with you, don't take it personally, or make it personal.
Learn the rules of arguing. Making proper arguments, defending your beliefs etc correctly is important because people here tend to get p.o.'d if someone can't follow the basic rules of arguing when in disagreement. It makes the discussion boring and waste of time.
Even when people are kind of anonymous here, you can show some respect to everyone by learning the rules.
Try to answer to everyone in threads if you are making strong points that people disagrees with, and don't disappear without noticing in the middle of heated arguments. And remember that everyone here is human too with feelings.
If you are interested about people here, then you learn things about their personal lives. So you can then try different approaches, like with your real life friends. When people see that you have taken the time and interest to remember something about them personally, then they remember you better too and should be friendlier.
Basically just the basic rules of good behaviour and rules of arguing. That gets you a long way I guess.

Very few people are "cogs in the system" with no choice - but also very few can make any choice they want. Always consequences for actions, and often we can't see them. So best to get an idea of what's ahead, and maybe plan towards something we think is worthwhile - some achievement, some dream.
As for individuality - some people are "rough diamonds" Thorn - very hard to wear down. But, if we didn't rub off on each other (not just sex - I mean exchange opinions, run chores for each other, help each other, love each other) then life is truly horrible.
At least allow yourself the chance to grow, to be a better person, to improve yourelf. All these things are worth suffering for, if you gain in the end.

I don't care who Thorn was - I care about who Thorn wants to be.
