I'd be wondering what Hong Kong did to piss off Beijing.

I have a question for any nuke experts. I live on the north side of Hong Kong Island. There's an east-west range of hills on the island and the hills are about 400-metres high.

If a US ( ) nuke lands on the south side of the island, do the hills provide any protection from the initial blast?

to be honest if the nuke was like anything else made in china it'd fall apart within two minutes of launch...

tbh i'd either drive away as fast as i could, or more probably because the things i need to live (i.e. insulin) are going to be a mite difficult to get hold of in post nuclear world just go to my friend lisa's house and give her a good boning, then at least we'd both die happy

That's right, so if I drove in any direction that would still put me next to ground zero of other major cities such as Leeds, Sheffield. I would drive to the Yorkshire Moors to avoid it, but precisely 65-75 miles away is RAF Fylingdales where they have an early warning system and is probably a nuclear target...so wherever I go, I'm ****ed around here

You have to assume that if you know, so does everyone else, so the roads will be jammed completely, unless your town has an efective evacuation plan, which is unlikely.
