Desktop pictures (with a twist) Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

This time instead of just showing off your new desktop picture or winXP 'theme', I want the focus to be on the installed / running programs you have.


I'm always very interested in this. When I see a screenshot, I always look at the right lower hand side to see the running processes, and the quick links.

Use a Sharpie pen to write on your screen, hit the Print Screen button, scan in the printed copy, save it as a JPG with 800 pixels width or less.

Interesting, both Mac people here have their Dock on the left hand side of the screen... do a lot of Mac-ites () move the dock from the bottom (where I normally see it) to the left?

No, I usually have it on the bottom, but I was messing around with some UI tweaks that used the bottom of the screen.

Hey Ag, is there a way to edit my image size in Preview? Can't figure out how to limit the screen shoot to 800.

edit: Oh, one of the movies on mono's desktop is Rushmore. Don't know about the other.

Does the audio part of iChat AV use my iMacs internal microphone? If it does, sure. Also, Agathon, do you know of any good mac free/shareware that would make use of my internal mic?

Also, how'd you split up and tab your dock like that?
Agathon is THE mac guru on these forums, by decree of me.
But please, get a better desktop picture - I tried that one for about two seconds. Hideous. It's like a muslim mosque design, only without the intelligence and zest.

Not that I know of. I use Command-Shift 3 to take the shot and then use Graphic Converter to scale it and convert it to jpeg.

Preview sux. The new version should be much better.
