Ok, we have 8 signed up. No one else seems to care too much (if I'm wrong post emails to my PM or here). So, we can discuss the draft. When do you guys want to have it? Sooner is probably better, since it's an offline draft... held at Poly.

How long should each person get?

We need to discuss exactly how this is going to work. How can you input the names onto our teams? I checked the box which says the commissioner cannot access my team

Also when we select, the list of players will not automatically update- which is a convenient feature. We'll have to keep track of which players are taken. Which isn't too big a deal, if we do a slow draft. It will allow time to write down each person's pick.

Diss, I can input the names... I did it in baseball, even though I didn't have the power to access specific teams. It's the Commissioner's power in an Offline draft.

Yes... I do that... but usually Berzerker updates as well (at least he did in baseball).

A bunch of us are willing to keep taken players updated on just about every page of the thread. It sure helps not having to keep looking back at older pages to figure out who was taken.

Btw Imran, we may have a problem with the 16 inning rule because of the all-star break. Can you negate that rule for this week or should we just hope people can make the 16 innings in a shortened week?

Okay then. Sounds good. Just give me a few days heads up before we start the draft. I will want to do a little more research. I could do it now, but I'm a procrastinator . And someone may get injured in training camp or something.

I'm thinking of starting it Sunday.... if that's alright with everyone... but we'll need even teams all set up first (I think that'll be ok).

AS, Imran posted the draft rules on the first page. Offensive players excluding linemen and we pick a defensive team as a whole unit, not individual defensive players.

Go right ahead . I already told you that the difference between Defenses isn't nearly as great as the differences between Offensive players.

Sloth and Jac de Molay... sent... before you sign be sure you can make the time to show up for the draft .

Ok, we won't start on Sunday, but pretty soon. We have 16 rounds and either 10 or 12 teams (depending).

How many teams should we have? We have 9 now. A few people haven't signed up yet that I've sent invites too.
