I am ashamed to say I really haven't heard about Ali (other than the massive praise others have bestowed upon you). I am wondering if you can provide some links to her work for us unenlightened folk out here?

Aw, shucks you guys. The renaming of units wasn't even my idea - I forget who did it but it was originally done by another Polytoner here.

So as far as I'm aware the turn thread is the only thread that directly affects the game? (This may include a few poll threads, eg War with the Drones poll.)

And does everybody get to play a turn or is it one spokesman playing, with the consensus of the Hive delegation behind them?

Is the save file up for distribution so I can have a look at the status quo?

Anyone can see the turn, I can get you the password if you don't already know it, but theorectically speaking, only certain people are "authorised" to actually play it. If you want to be one of those people then try and get a government post (not hard to do )

God knows which threads actually directly affect the game, there was a number of interesting Hive Strat threads knocking around...
