Moves have been updated through 2900BC, with one warrior exploring south and one exploring east.

I updated move orders through 2600BC. Bedevere goes south along the east coast, our 5th warrior explores northeast, and the 6th warrior keeps Camelot happy.
But we may have to change plans if barbarians start coming.

Updated through 2390BC.
We now have 4 warriors exploring, with Launcelot and Bedevere approaching the equator.

They are dying as we speak. Not a real threat. What would be coceivable, though, is some kind of invasion by the guys winning that war...
quote: Originally posted by Darekill It is obvious that we do not have a Navy. We need one.
So build harbors in the coastal towns then build galleys.
at least 10 - 20. We can counter atackers at sea even if the losses are high. Blocking works out from time to time depending on the prospectet landing site. |
One problem here is that our coastal cities are underdeveloped. The one close enough to starting us on a fleet is Swamp Castle. We could also use Joyous Garde, but it sits on a lake, and will not be able to build a Harbor. If we want to use more cities for that, our GA would not help our infrastructure, and we would be stuck with the lack of buildings for very long...
I agree we should start having a fleet, but I personally think it is of low priority.

Chasing monkeys is fun but is it still necessary? Do they have a settler? if not, leave them be and defend the citys. Let them come if they wish to. We should leave the longbows in the south, just in case... |
In the far south lies a source of Ivory. If we take it with a Colony, we can drop the lux slider down to 0%. So yes, killing every last remaining Monkey roaming the continent is very much worth it. Perhaps we can achieve that while dividing our force, so that some soldiers can go back north.

Hide the catapults in the citys as well. Start building up infrastructure in the south. Mainly roads to get the units quick to where they are needed. The workers must be protected by nearby Musketeers. |
A long Road south is done already—it almost connects us to the Ivory, and allows our forces mobility in the crucial area. All cities are connected as well. Workers are currently starting to improve tiles for our planned FP site (City of Silly Peasants). You can see the Roads in pictures in the turn threads.

Do we have any chance to get iron? Via trading that is. Without iron we are lost in the long run. |
That is OctavianX's part. Maybe he can arrange something...
Another way would be to get those last two Monkey cities for a source of Horses. Far fetched, maybe, but enough to have Cavalry, skipping Knights.

O.k. gues theres little advice for now. But at least I know now more about our planes. |
It depends on what you call "advice". Asking questions that need to be answered and making others think about strategy is advice in itself.

Oh no, you don't!
Now that you have learned the army status, think about plans for military production: what must be, what needs to be, what would be nice to have. More specifically, how important do you consider building the navy in comparison to building infrastructure first? Also, should we (re)start building new units in the north? What units and how many (must/need/would be nice)?
And, as the official C.O.W.A.R.D., you get to officially set general goals and directions for the existing army! Now, let me tell you what to tell me, so I can go back to playing the save... ;-)
