Sava, i'm not heartless or anything else. I'm simply stating the facts. Job description of a soldier: Fight, and if necessary die, for your country. Job description of President: Make descisions. He can do his job just as well from "the Western Whitehouse" as he can from Washington. You have done nothing to dispute that, which is the most relevant to your initial assumption, that him being in Crawford was a bad thing, and meant he wasn't doing his job. When someone makes a valid point, you simply change the subject and start talking about the infintesimal percentage of soldiers who have been affected by death, which is in fact in the Job description.

Again, you are being the typical ridiculous little Leftist. The President does not "sit around the office drinking coffee with his buddies".
He has to bear the responsibility of war and peace, with every decision that could put thousands of US soldiers in harm's way. Every decision the US president makes affects the lives of every single American. He literally has to bear the responsibility for the lives of 260,000,000 american lives every single day.
There is no job that is more stressful than that. Being President of the US is the most stressful job in the world. End of debate.

Let's see, he works 7 days a week, and is on call 24 hours a day during the entire time he is in the job. He has to read and assimulate reports on everything from the economy to what is happening in the samllest backwater country and make choices on how to deal with it all. Even if he trys to get in a round of golf, the president will be stopped all of the time throughout the game to take care of things that come up. Not to mention, that anytime you are anywhere that the press can get near, you are constantly asked questions and the samllest thing you say can be blown up to be bigger than it should. You aren't responsible to see that your squad members are killed unneedfully, you are responisble for each and every death. And it never lets up, not a single day, hour or minute.
Yea, the job is a piece of cake, a walk in the park. Look at the before and after pictures of the last 5 or so Presidents. They all age about 20 or so years in office. But your right, it is so easy.

Just for record: Has Sava ever admitted he's wrong? Or that he may have exaggerated things just a wee bit?
In any case, I personally can't think of a lousier job than US President. Those who doubt the stress need only look at pictures of Jimmy Carter from 1976 and then again in 1980. He aged about 20 years.
