Nonono. It was quite simple, actually, and I probably shouldn't say "space game", since that'll make one think of a simulator or something - it was either a side scroller or one of those things which happen only on one screen a la Space Invaders. I can't describe it well enough for anyone to remember.

Yep,
till today I donīt know,
what was the trigger to get into those large Cities,
where you had to Bomb Flak Batteries.

I know that in the End I fairly often got into these Cities,
but I donīt know how I made it.

Perhaps by shooting enough of those special marked Planes and Bombing enough of the special marked Cars?

The triggers were point totals. If you got enough point then you went on to the next level. If you didn't have enough points then you just kept repeating the same level over and over.

I never played Blue Max 2001 but the original was ahead of it's time.

I had to subscribe to a foreign games delivery company for the Curse of the Azure Bonds since most games at that time here were pirated and after PoR I wanted them original for my C64 (for the manuals, the stability etc).

But by the time the games arrived I had the Amiga 500 and had sold my C64

I've played it too. Later on though at my 386 after the Amiga 500. I agree it wasn't as good as PoR. Maybe the novelty had worn off but I think it also was more restrictive than PoR in some ways... movement outside cities etc)

They improved the game engine in Curse since they added the "restl" feature. In PoR you had to guess about how long it would take to heal your characters and your mages never automatically rememorized their spells. With one touch of the "rest" button your people were healed and their spells rememorized.

I spent hours in building Castles and besieging others
Especially being able to steer a Catapult and Bombard the Walls of the enemy Castle was a great Feature for this time.

Althougn I found the Tournaments being a little bit too easy, as you just had to count how many times your Lance bumped up and down and then, at the right time had to raise it.

Winter and Summer games were great. There was also a Summer games II i believe.

I hated hot dog. I actually did like one of the 2 figure skating games on Winter games . I had a great score on 1 of them. I just did a whole bunch of weird ****, and amazingly got a huge score. My record was on there forever, my brother or no one else could beat it.

I wasn't very good at bobsledding, despite many, many attempts. I was pretty good a speedskating. I had a record on that one.

As for summer game I liked the cycling events. The high jump was impossible for me. I did okay at the triple jump. some of the swimming I did okay at.

Since I had my C64 age 9-11, I didn't play many of these fancy RPGs and whatnots (though I remember trying Elite and not understanding it at all). Instead me and my friends played lots of action games.

Same here... got a pretty high score, don't remember how high though, but I was in the Hall of Fame until shortly before we sold the Amiga... then someone got a better score than me

I was really too young to every figure out how to beat any of them. I just had fun putting in stupid commands and see if there was a funny response.

Zork was a good text adventure. I remember laughing hysterically when I went into some bathroom, looked around, and the computer told when there was something brown laying on the floor. It turns out the brown thing was a chocolate bar which you had to feed to a dog so you could get past the next stage.

Leasure suite larry and the King's Quest series weren't proper text adventures since they had pictures. The old Zork style text adventures were all the rage in the late 1970's and early 1980's when graphics were so bad no one cared that you were just always typing words and reading descriptions.

The Seven Cities of Gold was another C64 game I really liked. I loved how I could have 16 spaniards and still destroy the entire Inca Empire.
