It's pretty large actually, though it rapidly dilutes after that IMO. But still, here's a girl who's never lived away from her parents with a guy who has lived on his own for over 8 years. Her brain is still developing, while mine had been done with that for at least a couple of years. She'd never been in a serious relationship, while I'd been from here to there and in between, including an engagement and two relationships that had lasted for three years each. She wasn't a virgin, some bass player nailed her when she was 14 years old, but I doubt that she'd had 5 lovers total when I met her, and none of them for long. I'd had 25-30 by that time (I honestly can't remember how many but that seems about right).
I was afraid of becoming too important (and vice versa of course) to her in a relationship that I knew was going to end in fairly short order. I didn't want to get hurt and didn't want to hurt this sweet girl who I cared about deeply either. Interestingly, by trying to remain friends and never allowing the relationship to flame out we actually prolonged the whole thing. If I had known that then, I might have let nature take its course. The only benefit today that I can say with any confidence came from the way that we handled things is that she has remained a very good friend of mine, and has helped me through some very difficult things a couple of times since then. Otherwise, I probably made myself more attractive to her by being restrictive about the relationship, which was a challenge to her powers of insane attractiveness, for which my own ability to refrain from sex was no match. This turn of events probably made the whole thing much more intense than it needed to be, but we both tend to be addicted to that sort of thing I guess.

They do have an impact on you, sure.
I know a friend who went through all sorts of trouble so we don't see his new girlfriend. When I saw her, I understood why. Fat, short and ugly. Of course that's his business and noone would have a problem with it if HE didn't... We don't give him a hard time with it. But it is he who leaves thin veiled remarks about her and then waits to hear our reaction. Which makes the whole thing rather silly.

Definitely cool! If it's a girl, you can have her doing what ever you want to, but if it's a boy.. Oh man he's going to be a walking DEATHMACHINE! I'm going to hide the baby inside my sweater, so we get into violent movies etc.. Before he can even walk, he can already kill with his bare hands. How cool is that, old people picking him up 'ooh he's cute' and because he don't like old people pinching him, he goes for pressure points right there behind ear and below the chin.. I'm telling you, he's going to have his first kill before hitting 3 years old.
We can just keep him bold, no worries of growing hair. The first b-day is going to be great.. we'll take him to the barracks and all the soldier guys can check his skills out and take pictures with it, and then we head out to our dream house and give him presents like RayBan aviators, his first combat vest, small hand gun, tactical light to it.. the works. He's going to be so cute and deadly at the same time, it'll just make me piss my pants thinking what's going to happen because we grounded him and it's time to sleep!
