Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

When i load my games i press multiplayer then play by e - mail then i press Load game, when i did this i did not find it.WOOOOOT I finally foud the file..... I was gonna load a game i am playing vs the AI and whatta you know there it was..... the save game for this game. (But not for the other game i am playing )

Ah....Yes Kermit, the same thing happend to me just a few weeks ago. From the main splash screen, I have to now click on the "Load Game" tab not the "Mulitplayer" tab and load the though there. If I try loading though multiplayer - like I've always done in the past, the screen doesn't give me the option (pull-down window) to load a game.

Increase Your PM Length

I have just tried to load this save on PTW... it will not open and warns me that the file may be corrupt. I have virus checked it, but found no bug.

Thus it may be that this game can only of use for those with Conquests...

As I do not have Conquests yet, and having a young family, my finances are not spent on game upgrades as a priority... So it looks like I am now out of this game.

If that is the case, the I would like to thank you all for a great, if short, game so far.

I have forwarded the save to SirOsis, as he is next in line, and I believe also the administrator.

Can't we go back a couple of turns and make sure that people only open the file using PTW? I don't think there's any need for you to drop out. And who's going to send us funny pictures between turns if you're gone?

I concur Anatolia. I too would hate to see Paddy leave....my only question is if Kermit has a working copy of PTW game available....

Increase Your PM Length

I read somewhere that if you uninstall Civ3 and PTW and then install Civ3 then C3C that then you can use PTW.

Haven't confirmed this yet.

C3C is in Oz now.

i could reinstall but, then i will loose all the scenarios i have made.. does anyone know a way i can reinstall without loosing all the maps i have made?

I think you can save all the scenario files to your desktop (or some folder), reinstall, and then move all the files back to the Civ3 save folder.
