They don't say this was a planned assault, they only say the assaulter was not acting like a lunatic while he stabbed her. He did it in a cool and determined way, then walked away and did not start running until a witness tried to grab him.

They are still doing surgery right now.

They stopped for an hour by 1-2 tonight but when they did that the bleeding got worse.

Chance are they'll amputate her liver and put her on dialysis if she survives the rest of her inner bleedings.

The police has found a knife, a jacket and a baseball cap they believe belonged to the killer.

He's not a killer yet. Let's hope that he will not become one. Anna Lindh is very likely to become the next prime minister whenever Göran Persson decides to resign. She's the only member of the current cabinet I trust. I would never vote for her, but I would accept her as a prime minister more than I accept Göran Persson.

Yeah, we still don't know who did it and why, just like Palme. But while Palme had numerous enemies around the globe, Anna Lindh did not. She was a very well-known and respected politician with a natural aura and strong integrity.

It would be kinda strange to hear something like that from Bush after her critique of US foreign policy. Colin Powell = Very non-hawkish compared to the rest of the Bush gang.

I thought she would make it until i heard she had liver injuries. I counted her as dead yesterday evening and I'm quite used to the thought by now. You just don't survive a trashed liver.

Well, now I'm quite upset. Another politician bites the dust and the cops have no clue as usual. The only thing they're good at is beating up no good spoiled leftist punks. I predict another charade in the media as the last time around, from -86 and thereafter.

I think it's a lone killer with some sort of mental problems. No real conspiracy. Everyone wants it to be something more behind a incident like this, as in the JFK assasination and the killing of Olof Palme. Loonies are everywhere and they are unpredictable.

It could go any way. It could lead sympathy votes for "Yes" but it's also damaging for the "Yes"-campaign that seemed to be doing well these last couple of weeks. A lot of the TV-debates and other meetings will canceled or at least many of the leading figures will not attend. So the "Yes"-side will loose some changes to convince people.
