I seem to be taking longer with my workers to build roads/mines since going Democracy.

Mines at 8 turns roads through grassland at 4 turns.

Is there a known bug or is a new feature I was not aware of ?

Ive bumped a few stories in the stories forum, I dont know if you have read them all but they are a few of the ones Ive really enjoyed over the last year and a half. I found that my writing improved the more I read others work, and the selection Ive just bumped is definitely quality stuff.

Back in june 2002 when I first joined poly, I had never, except at school attempted to write creatively, it was two fold really ie: The love for the civ game experience and human history in general, then the sheer inspiration from the stories being posted at this site which eventually had me sit down and try to imagine a story of my own.

yes, we do have lot in common.

when I left my an employer last year, there were over 30 stories in filed in my desk, that had been printed out and read on the train.

all very inspirational.

good to see these stories coming round again...

there sure have been alot here over the past few years.

no I have always been here...

but being of English stock, and living in a Commonwealth / English Nation I got a good English education etc...

Elizabeth is the Queen of Australia as well you know...
