Feedback, well Peter you made it very easy to follow, and thats about as honest as I can be. I have trouble learning these kinds of skills, but with help can usually get there. You know its a special human trait to be able and patient enough to pass on knowledge and skills especially humbly and for naught but thanks.

I have an extensive and varied range of skills and knowledge but IT is cetainly an area fairly new to me, I dont find it daunting as some do or would do if they dared try, but rather mysterious and challenging.

Ive spent many years as a local youth leader in my home town, well as a Scout Leader to be precise, and throughtout those years have learnt and passed on a great wealth of skills and knowledge. I dont do it now as the last 2 years were very difficult with my late father's cancer.

At 38 now and with 4 children of my own its time to let the younger lads take over, I still offer my support and help out when Im needed but I put 20 years in so Im satisfied that I did my bit.

This was supposed to be feedback and Ive waffled on about me, sorry, it was effortlessly easy to follow your helpful instructions, thoughI had to redo them three or four times due to my ineptitude.

Well Sir, you did win the comp by a landslide

thus your work is a great example of what the stories on the forum can be like. there are many reasons to share this story with others... all be it that I would like to see a greater participation on the story forum. although those that are there do a fair amount. could you imagine if we doubled the participation amount over the next few months.

I get a great enjoyment from reading the stories in the train etc

Ive not heard a thing about the civ group icon, I can recall a time in the stories forum when there was so much activity it became almost impossible to keep up with all the updates. Sadly there has been some decline but I still feel its vibrant and it has periods still of hyper activity.

My original reason for joining poly was the stories, and until you prised me out of there with the wonders of PBEM it was still my main activity at this site.

Oh yeah BTW 670 on its way
