90AD over to you, thanks for the tech what a surprise! you must really be cooking on gas with Republic. Please find enclosed the scrolls of feudalism

I have decided to backtrack to Monarchy, I think its Spains favoured gov and maybe they will perform better with it. Englands commercial trait probably makes republic ideal.

One thing though I have not dabbled at all with the new govs from conquests, I was almost tempted to try feudalism out, Spain being religious theres no anarchy.

130AD sent, my email seems to be very slow on both addresses. The strange thing is poly is loading pades in seconds, so my broadband conection must be okay.

I was surprised that the dial up is going slow as well though.

MSN seems to be working but page loading is taking up to 2 minutes at times, must be something their end as my cable Bband seems fine.

that pic is funny, Im back and MSN seems to be working again. I got the save thanks and Ive sent 170AD to your good self.

Update on tech, I switched back from Monarchy to Invention, I did some playtersting with several of my own saves with religious trait civs and switched govs and tested scenarios with all of the early options.

Republic came out on top hands down, but you cant have a very big miliatary. One thing I may have done wrong is Ive got most of my cities guarded by two spear/ pikes and a bunch of warriors/swords so possibly too many units.

So Im sticking with Republic until Democracy comes round

I was but as Im alone on my island Ive dibanded some for the shields and to reduce the upkeep costs, and its improved my tech rate already, Invention in 9

Its habit to build so many units. In all my single player games I usually go Monarchy and they can afford more units.

Ive got two camps close to my cities with seven or eight horsemen sitting on them. Siting on them being the operative statement, they dont seem to be bothered to attack at all. Perhaps they on strike due to low wages or something.
