I don't think you should tell her you love her if you don't. If you don't know tell her you don't know. Better than saying "No" anyway.

Reading between the lines there, if she thinks that you should only be able to sleep with her if you love her does that mean she loves you? She must be nuts.

@ Rogan -- Actually, that's just how you know that she WANTS it to be love.

@ Ecthelion -- DON'T tell her you love her if you don't (or don't know). Unless you just want to cynically collect as much nookie as possible before it ends. If you go this path, she will blacken your rep with every female she knows.

Your answer should be honest without insulting her. Suggestion -- "How could I not?" combined with a bit of "I want to find out if it's love" (assuming, of course, that's the case).

Come on guys, it's really simple. You just tell her that you like her a lot, more than any other girl you've ever dated, but that you just aren't sure if you're really in love or not, having never been in love before. Then throw out some bullshit about how you want to be really sure that you are in love with her before you say it, because you want the moment to be magical or some other pseudo-romantic bullshit. Allows you to give her the self-esteem boost she's looking for without burdening yourself with all the baggage that goes along with actually uttering those three words.
