When I was in college there was a program called MEP (minority education program) in which they allowed minorities access to tutors, computers, and study centers for free. My study partners were all minorities so we used these facilities to study. We ussually studied in the library when we could, but because our discussions got pretty heated and long sometimes we would always end up in their study rooms.

One night while we were studying my group decided to take a break and run down to the JQ to get some drinks, I stayed behind. Immediatly after my friends left 5 other minorities came in and started harrassing me and telling me to get the F-out... I told them where to stick it... They left and I told my friends when they got back.

The next day I was told that because I am white I was not allow to study there anymore... I told the dean. The program was threatened and they allowed me to stay.. What utter BS that was.

So, no. While minority groups may say that anyone is welcome to join, this just aint so.

So f'em, I think the McClellen chick has a good idea, though I see it more as an F-you Club than anything else, but she shouldn't be kept from having it... (Anyone who joins will be labled as racists, and in HS that is a beich.)

Sure. They have a right to have whatever club they want. Freedom of Speech. Personally, I'd like to have clubs, political parties, and such be legal, because you want people out in the open with their beliefs. I'd rather have a public Nazi Party, than have one meeting in secret to do thing. And if people are going to have a club which I think is stupid or propagates dumb ideas, I want them to be out in the open so I know who they are.

Also, if people are so pathetic that they need to make a club and exclude others based upon race, etc, then let them. It's a free country.
