Unfortantly I may be running into quiet a few ex's when I get back next month. I've kept up with a few over email and I seem to have gotten myself into a jam. Basically i've gotten back together with at least two of them. It seems the whole being deployed thing has caused them to miss me. I'll see who really loves me when I tell them I could be gone for another year.

I'm 27. I almost got married when I was 21 but wisely I listened to my parents and finished school first and by that time that girl and I had broken up. At one time we were right on the virge of driving to Vegas and tieing the knot though. I'm glade I didn't. Christine and I also talked about marriage on several occations but I never officially asked her to marry me.

Right now I'm not dating anyone and other then a quick half ass relationship which lasted slightly over a month I haven't dated anyone since Christine and I broke up six months ago. I figure the best thing for me is to move back to San Diego (where all my family and most of my friends live; I had moved to Sacramento at the beginning of the year for a job), find a new job, get settled, and then worry about relationships.

Hueij : Boris's boyfriend went to Europe with him and as soon as they got back home he just never called him again. No "I'm alive but don't want to see you", no "I don't want to date you any more", no nothing. When you break up with someone you should atleast tell them and not just drop off the face of the Earth. I admite that pretending you don't see someone at a bar is childish but it's not in the same catagory as going on foreign vacations with someone and then just never speaking to them again.

It really hurts to be rejected and then later run into an ex. I know too well what it feels like to think you're the loser and your ex is living large without you.

But you know what? Someday you will meet the "right one" and when you do you will appreciate her more. You will have a list of losers to compare the "right one" too and realize how lucky you really are.

Trust me, it may not feel like it now, but someday you'll see. Have faith.
