Okay, I was talking with one of my girlfriends - let's call her Callie - online about usual girly stuff, when the subject of her first time came up. I thought her story was remarkable and I'm still wondering whether it's really sweet and romantic, or whether it's actually kinda creepy. As for you guys out there - let's hope this story helps you make a few girls happier!  quote:
He had been her scuba diving instructor. They'd gone to a remote island resort for diving. He had maneuvered his closest male friends to stay away (they were originally going to come along) and then told her that her diving skills were far behind and then given her further instruction. During that time, when they were together alone, with the smooth expanse of the azures around them and the collected riches of the seabed below, he told her he loved her and asked her if she felt the same way.
Okay, that was background.
Fast forward to winter holiday. She came back from her studies overseas and he immediately whisked her away to his friend's shacklet in the scenic mountainside. There, he had taken it upon himself to pamper and baby her all day, cooking for her and not allowing her anywhere near the kitchen.
He prepared dinner and brought it out to candle light, wines, and musical accompaniment. He gave her a present over dinner - an enormous teddy bear.
The teddy bear was wearing jeweled earrings and necklace. They, too, were gifts for her, procured from the capital.
Talk turned to her life in America, and how it must have been difficult. She, remembering, began to cry, and he masterfully removed her to the bedroom. He just held her close and rocked back and forth.
After a spell, he stroked her back and started to massage her. She lay on her front, and it seemed only natural to take off her shirt. He massaged her sore muscles for a while, then laid a cloth over the bed, ostensibly to guard against the massage oil.
Of course, what happened thereafter proved that he had counted on guarding the bed against more than just the oil.
As if the above weren't enough testament to his organizational skills, the final coup de grace came when she worried she might be pregnant, after the event. With admirable coolness, he summoned up his formidable presence of mind and gave her an eloquent rationale as to why, owing to certain cycles which he had evidently monitored very closely, it was impossible for her to get pregnant at that time.
The man in this story is 29 years old and the woman is 24. The man has admitting to having two serious girlfriends, and maybe three casual relationships. He has also admitted that he has slept with prostitutes before and in between relationships.
I now hold this man with a degree of awe and reverence that I have not held for many people. He evidently must love her a lot. I can't imagine any man going through this trouble and meticulous planning for a girl just to sleep with her.

None of us can judge either of them, this is just a short story. It's interesting, but in the end - whatever.
I met my fiance on the Internet 6 years ago. 3 years ago I went to Singapore to meet her for 1 month, her father was unsure of it, but first day he met me he allowed me to stay with them in their home.
1 year later, my fiance comes over to New Zealand (christchurch) for 2 weeks, all is great. Just this year I was over in Singapore again for another month (during chinese new year, best chance to meet the relatives).
Next year in Jan, she will be coming back for another month hopefully, and at the end of next year we will be getting married.
Long distant relationships do work, during WW2 and WW1 there were hundreds of penpal writings, between soldiers and women back in their home country.
Face it, we are living in a time where it is easier to communicate and travel the world, soon it will be a commonplace to find a relationship outside your city/country.
