Hive News, MY 2164
With your host, Shun Di
A great step has been accomplished by community member Darston Lartaerson; He has managed to develop a command center which is connected to the planetary datalinks in such a way as to more efficiently coordinate defenses, attacks, and training; in effect, creating one huge command center.
In other news, we have won the first battle in the war declared by Chairman JMarshFox with our experimental impact infantry. More are on the way, and soon we shall liberate our comrades under the oppression of the Spartans...

I don't need to rush the Virtual World ... just one more turn ... I can beat Santiago ... almost there ... drat!

I had turns in three games awaiting me when I got home yesterday. I played all, but forgot to post. I sent the turn on to JMarshFox 22 hours ago.
By the way, did anyone get an announcement that Santiago was about to finish the Virtual World? In my, albeit limited, PBEM experience, all the announcements go to a single player, who really should pass the announcements on to the group. I'll make do with PTS, but I really wanted VW.
Finally, I have another (albeit short) Boy Scout weekend coming up. I will be leaving town late Friday afternoon and returning late Saturday morning. I expect to miss the Friday evening and be late with the Saturday morning turn.

Marco, the move you sent me was named 2167 but in fact it was 2166. Please try again.
BTW, when you sent 2166 it was mislabeled as 2167. Maybe that is what caused you to think that it was the real 2167. I guess I should have alerted you to the fact that your moves were comming in named with the wrong dates. Sorry.

Guys, I like the game and I REALLY like my position, but I'm not interested in playing this thing at one turn per week.
Are we going to get moving, or should I seek a replacement for myself?

2168 to Gaians.
Our CMN has re-contacted me. He suggests that we give this game one more try. That's fine with me. He recommends that if there is one more "unexplained" delay of game, then the lapsing player would be replaced. I believe that we were all agreed on this course already so now we are all on notice that it will be enforced.
I hope that we can complete our "original" game. I'm pleased to your interest in completing it too.
Regards,
Net Warrior
